digi is unstable, almost a month near my town area still unsolved. i'm lazy to report...

b3 channel some area is missing/undetect.
b7 channel is running in some area so max speed is not good compared b3.

maybe they are testing to run LTE-A soon. not sure how long is gonna be.

my house use,
ping sometimes is high reach 100+ms to digi.
speed not as fast as previous but usable got 20mbps.
open speedtest felt it's slow to detect the server to test.

B7 is better for top speed than B3.. higher frequency=bigger capacity.. but lower penetration..

lately after b3 upgrade from 10MHz to 15MHz, while b7 still at 10MHz, i think here most area b3 is better speed than b7

Higher frequency doesn't comes with bigger capacity. Capacity is based on bandwidth. Since Digi deployed 15MHz on band 3 and 10MHz for band 7, their band 3 had bigger capacity. Since higher frequency band shorter range, it's generally less congested and hence better experience on higher frequency band.

in my case yes. B3 is using BW 15 MHz, the speed is double than B7. But B7 since can cater more capacity, the stability is there

I use 2 devices.
Huawei e5186 22a complete with mimo antenna & netgear 790s.

I noticed that 790 is more powerful. Small but the connection are stable & speed maintained at high speed.

5186 eventhough with mimo cant beat 790 stability & speed. Still playing with tools to find perfect sinr, rsrp bla bla...

I received call from digi offering unlimited data / call / 5gb thetering at 80/month. shud i change from my celcom 80?
*
check your celcom speed. If your celcom speed around your house / office area can go more than 5 mbps, u no need to change (assuming the 20GB data plan from celcom is enough for you). If every month you need to topup your data, maybe u should change to digi.

i found it can be useful depend where you place the antenna, my case (my house) if place higher and facing the tower can help a bit.

sometime without the antenna the download speed is twice faster (tested in my office).

I wonder this can do a better job.

Is it possible to use Huawei E5186 with DiGi Infinite 150 to feed internet connection to an ASUS Router? The reason I use E5186 and not a dongle installed to an ASUS router is to use the phone line.
