it may depending on what time u test ... u can get fast at midnight , like day time at week days ok also . but when comes to week end ... neeeh ... the speed average can get only around 10mb up/down.

Networking performance on Rpi is terrible. Not recommended to use as a router.

The Ethernet port is just 100/10

Im doing like this …mifi (usb as eth1) > pi (as router -DHPC yes+ as WAN source through LAN port) > broadband WIFI router.

So far ok just i dont wan the mifi all the while charging the battery.

You can subscribe DiGI Infinite 150 at DiGi Center too.
But must autopay every month.

digi is unstable, almost a month near my town area still unsolved. i'm lazy to report...

b3 channel some area is missing/undetect.
b7 channel is running in some area so max speed is not good compared b3.

maybe they are testing to run LTE-A soon. not sure how long is gonna be.

my house use,
ping sometimes is high reach 100+ms to digi.
speed not as fast as previous but usable got 20mbps.
open speedtest felt it's slow to detect the server to test.

been testing for few weekend the past months to test out coverage and today finally made the decision to switch.

manage to hit 70+mbps with the external mimo antenna pointed north and placed just bellow the attic,but have to lay new cat6 and power sockets to place the LTE modem in the coming weeks.

temporary place the modem with the external antenna pointed south in another room, 3Bar 4G+ 40mbps not the fastest but still 10x of my streamyx speed for RM10 extra  



went setup port forward and dmz but no avail, seems like digi is running NAT based IP after google around. Anyone manage to get a public IP from digi success?

DiGi only provide private ip for ipv4 based ip, so say goodbye to port forwarding unless they roll out ipv6 to their customers.

now cracking head, cant access my home server remotely without going through vpn

So after those disappointing days with TM Streamyx 4 Mbps , I'm going to change to Digi Infinite 150 , and I need help to pick which modem / router is the best for my use case .

My home is a apartment unit at Persiaran Sri Pinang , as the screenshot of this coverage map , it's exactly at the bubble pointer.

Which router should I get , as it's replacing my streamyx as a *home wifi* use case, I have a home phone that I want to use with the unlimited calls of the plan. I think it's also better to have 5Ghz band as there's a lot of wifi networks around my apartment.

Sabah also has Digi unlimited Rm100 with 20GB hotspot..... speed is 5mbps.. coverage is awesome...
