Hi guys. Short question. Should I pair my Digi Unlimited with Netgear's AC790S or AC810S? Price difference is pretty high.

DiGi Infinite 150 can be subscribed at DiGI STORE since last month., but required auto-billing.
If subscribed online, no auto-billing.

Make your choice, where to subscribe.....

If you do not want auto billing, then subscribe DiGi Infinite 150 online.

If you subscribe through DiGi Center, you MUST take auto billing. Can't run away from it....

Do any of you get any router hangs that need you to cold boot it?

My MR200 did that once and couldn't enter the config page due to some "internal error". :/

B525 is a more stable unit? I see it sold in lelong at RM850. Any special model need to consider like the s22a or s61a (s23a kot from the article below)?

http://www.24article.com/how-to-choose-hua...5-or-e5186.html

So far from this article, it mentions the plus point for the B525 is the band lock feature? but being smaller, I wonder if it'll suffer more from heat problems. hmm.gif

Did you buy from Taobao the E5186 original Huawei version or the rebadged one? I bought mine Original Huawei version from Taobao, but it came with OEM packaging and without seal. Actually I don't mind, as long as it works, but it kept restarting on its own every 7 minutes. I suspect it's a faulty one from the beginning. Eventually I bought a second one from Sing4G via Lazada and it came with original packaging and sealed. That is my first and last purchase from Taobao.

I posted that article link earlier. I am also geting my opinion based on articles and comparisons I have read. The 525 is just the newer replacement for the older 5186, the main feature being the band lock feature. I think the 5186 can also do band lock if you know how to flash a replacement fw.

Just like the 5186, the 525 also come in diff variant. Most important get the one that support malaysian CA supported bands, i.e the 23a for the 525 model and the 22a for the 5186model.

I bought mine in April and pricing was still low that time, unlike now. So my price can't be used as reference.

It's a rebranded Tele2, in fact I bought another four units of rebranded - VIVA as well, all are still working. My customers didn't feedback to me and at least two of them have flashed to another firmware.

Why need to flash firmware to lock band? Just use Huawei Toolbox, click and lock band or just using HW Manager app.

ic ic, sorry didn't manage to read through all 200 pages laugh.gif

Seems like not many using the B525 yet? I might consider jumping to the B525 instead as long as it's more stable

Would you prefer getting a B525 or E5186 if you still had a choice?
