Those who uses e5186s 22 router,
Is there a way to know if your router having 4-5 bars rather than looking manually in the Huawei app

Since on the router there's only 3 signals indicator showing? *facepalm*

Or am I missing something here?

yeah i agree on that.

the MIMO works for me, but when i bring it to my friend house, it doesnt work for him.

i'm currently thinking about poynting antenna, their nearest distributor is at jurong area.

but, one set for LTE setup + 1x bracket without postage cost about rm1010 after convert from usd cry.gif  cry.gif

Better spend on good antenna rather than unproven solution. Try google Poynting antenna or similar brand.
Only 1 time cost and u can use for a long time / different modem. And try get the MIMO type  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

p/s: Buy antenna is u got rather low signal / unstable connection.

still waiting for Malaysian reviewer to test Poynting antenna before i buy one.

From what i know, Radiation from radio waves are not harmful,

unlike those gamma rays and x rays radiation, gamma radiation are the most dangerous sources because they can penetrate the skin and damage the cells inside,
i know because im in these field, my job involves in Gamma/Xray Radiation matters. tongue.gif

After i saw many post and go do some researching , the antenna might only help u gains the signal at certain dead spots , but if really wan to add more speed u might need the signal booster as well , somemore might need to see ur area , if alot user using network congested even u got full bars also no point . so In this setup might need spend more and might b not so effective … so i gived up d .
Any how my current only put the mifi stick to my glass door …
My download speed can be average at +- 5mb/s … im happy with it : )

i think im going for the m1 nighthawk or the huawei b618

bottom line i want faster + stable speed lol, im currently on e5186, hovering around 40-50Mbps

so what's your suggestion/advise folks, my new house still no unifi or even streamyx. Sad.

Guess digi is going serious on infinite? Good, because I have no other options(no unifi fiber etc2) at new house area.

Attached Image

Slowdowns you guys experiencing maybe due to upgrade/maintenance?

Mine's better than before now, online games is good, streaming is good, ping is good

What speed do you get at night say 8pm?
*
8pm to 10pm Before 30-40Mbps, after the slowdowns(5Mbps or so) I'm up to 50-60Mbps if 1am to 6am faster sometimes 80Mbps - yeah I know others get more than that stable, but this is an improvement for me lol

But I give it more time see if I should buy a new router or mifi like M1 nighthawk ,currently on Huawei e5186s (previously planning to get those poynting antennas, since the Singapore branch slow to reply - maybe I should just buy a new router)

Kinda afraid also after see user Chuahcs experience problems

maybe... just maybe digi is going hard on those who use internet excessively beyond limitations, this is not something new, unifi/streamyx also slows down some time end of month. maybe they detected over use from a single ip address.

but all in all, digi 150 is currently the best alternative for streamyx. i have been getting decent and hi speed internet connection so far.
*
I'm good, still hovering around 50Mbps,good enough for me. My slowdown was only 3 days. And I'm back on fast Digi 4g LTE speeds

And I don't do massive downloads, just some times when steam games needs updates(guess it was too much) but still getting awesome speeds

I'm paying RM 189 for 100Mbps UniFi, not about the price but portability for me. That said I still have my 100Mbps UniFi account at sister's house in Seremban which I go back every two weeks. Consistent all the way. I urge if you are always at home and fibre is available, please do yourself a favour and register one. Don't get Infinite 150.

If one day UniFi broadband (not UniFi Mobile) can be used anywhere, I will say goodbye to Digi Infinite. laugh.gif

For now, I am going to pray hard it's OK in PJ. Luckily I only come back less than 3 times to my hometown in PD. To be fair, the problem just started few days ago. Earlier it was flying.
*
will do if Unifi is available, i would even pay for the more exspensive 100Mbps

I went out to have dinner, 15km from my house. Speed flies there, so confirm it's network issue in my house. Phew.
