Limbayong is Greenfield or brownfield?

if Greenfield, i don't think it will be delayed because 1 floater (could be limbayong) will start to execute the engineering by mid 2021 and fabrication on late 2021

If I read it correctly, Limbayong should be classified under the greenfield floater project where the bar will start 2021, because I recall that news reported Limbayong also includes SURF tenders

The brownfield floater that is due to start in 2022 I not sure what project is that. Not sure what Petronas is saying either on the delayed FpSO from 2020 to 2022. Can anyone help to clarify?

Anyway. This new PAO looks worrisome to me, they reduced the outlook substantially back to 2018 Despite higher oil prices

got 2 major package, 1 is FPSO one more is Pipeline + SPS (3 tenderer in 2020/2019 bid).

Bid is ongoing, closing this month. “Expected” award in 2Q 2021, barring no other hiccups.

I’m guessing that MISC is devoting all its major resources to carry out MERO 3 FPSO. It’s a very important and strategic project as it opened the lucrative Brazilian FPSO market to MISC.

EXACT story I receive from my friends in MISC.

I believe MISC resource is good. They are the only Malaysia FPSO company taking the initiative to hire, and they gonna get excellent engineers as many of them are available.

Curious about Bumi Armada. They have the 98/2 Kakinada FPSO...should be a pretty major project. But they don't seem to be involved in the engineering/designing of the FPSO? Looks like all the people hired are working for Shapoorji O&G in Singapore.
