Tenders going on for EPCIC of 2 wellhead Platforms, Subsea Pipelines and Host Tie-ins Works for JDA Block B-17 Field Development Project (Phase 5), for CPOC, consisting of 2xjackets and 2xtopsides, namely Muda G & Tapi B. There is high chance that this would be fabricated in Malaysia, as Phase 4 was fabricated in Thailand. Phase 3 for the same was fabricated in Sapura.

Crux have jacket, topside and piles. Jacket and topside loadout is by skidding. Pile also very heavy. Sapura very hopefull and positive on crux award.

The inside sapura news is that jerun they will get for sure as sapura omv is the owner and operator. On casual talking to many sapura people in lumut, understand that they also planned on jerun fabrication areas in lumut yard. As per them the jerun jacket will be fabricated on the exact place (skid beams) where the pegaga cpp jacket is now and the jerun cpp topside is to be fabricated on the exact same place (skid beams) where the pegaga cpp topside is standing now. Also the plan is to reuse the pegaga cpp topside's lsf for jerun topside. The jerun itb looks like just a formality. 99% sapura will get jerun. On asking to many staffs on their next project, they all have same name to say "jerun".

For cpoc i will put my money on sapura.
