my ps2 scph 77006 cant read ps1 memory card leh... i heard the slim type ps2 block all ahem memory card leh.. so how now??? XD

It because of the modchip, different modchip uses different methods/ways to get it to work on backup games.

Uh...when i check up my console at Bernard today, turns out it can't run PS1 games because of the faulty modchip....>_<. He replaced it with a new one and it can play PS1 games just fine.

Hi guys, i've got one prob : and my PS2 is the FAT one
whenever i wanted to play a game with cheat using codebreaker/gameshark/ARMax , it will never load,
it will said : "cannot load disc"
how to solve this, last year i've been using fine, and i tried at my fren house, and it works . any solution?

and, what is the price for ps2 slim ? in IOI Mall, Puchong or at KL ? it is below rm400 ? planning to buy .

just wanna ask, what modchip has bernard replace for u to the PS2?
how much?

or u may try using softmod method. load the codebreaker from memory card/pendrive.

It's the same modchip for RM 100. I think Super 7 E-17 is the name of the modchip iirc. He said all the recent model (SCPH-90006) use that chip.

i think maybe the lens , bcoz, i can't play CD games (Harvest Moon Save The Homeland) and i think my PS2 is 5years

someone said , i must change the I.C. Modchip , really ?

then when i enable menu, it burn the stupid fake chip..... now cannot load all game, except can listen music cd....

last time loading game/ar2maxevo fast,
now some game cannot load also.

my old ar2maxevo dvd is like tis, but when i buy a new one, can load smoothly (mayb bcoz those new version, they discard many thing like music or what, make the disc load fast)
tis is my experience lah.

but now i using Code Breaker n with my FMCB to boot (softmod)
now i loading CB wit memory card.

last time i used CodeBreaker/GameShark , it just load the game fine . but , now when i change the disc , it will said cannot load disc .
are you sure must change the lens ? later , i change , nothing happen, how ?

u can load the disk last time (n many times) also ok,
is just now that u start cannot load,
that y i think is lens.

but of coz, u can ask those shopkeeper like Bernard,
ask for their opinion c how lah.

now u still can play disk or not?
have u check out that, got any old game that cannot load already?

like i say, if u want cheap n dun want change anything,
just use Softmod FMCB.

but my old games run fine . can you teach me how to do the pendrive thingy ?
