cute......anyways...yesterday was the first time i heard oreo and pringles bark...got like tempo wan...oreo bark then pringles will bark...anyways..their tail is still furless....hope there will be further progress in the future
*
Yeah yeah...same to my glider...eowyn will bark then gollum bark back..then frodo bark.....from what i know..they are calling each other to check their location when it is dark....

i think it will take at least 1-2 weeks for the fur to grow back...after my gollum met eowyn..his bald part had become less bald .... but in about 2 weeks time only can see it growing back.....now very neat.....

Added on May 20, 2007, 10:59 pmhun's mix is very good and tasty...my gollum used to be a picky eater now will drink the mix first once i put in the tray..... rclxms.gif

Hmm, I have a feeling a suggie that is raised well from a joey will have fluffier tails. But if you get an adult like mine, even tho it will get fluffy, but not as much already... hmm.gif

Cheaka, I never give my suggie grapes cuz there is an uncertain thing in it that is not really good for a suggie. If not mistaken it will effect their kidney in the long run. Altho they really like it, we shouldn't be giving it to them, just like corn too.

Hun, on the first night I've set up Luna's cage with Litter Star and all, altho I have the wire floor to seperate it, she puts her hand thru the bars, grab some and started chewing on it shocking.gif It really freaked me out... Will it be harmful to them? They don't really eat it right? They just chew it off right?

I slept near her cage that night so that everytime I hear the beads being scooped up by her little hands, I wake up, go to her cage and say "NO LUNA"... She'll quickly shake it off and run away... She's still doing it once in a while shakehead.gif I checked the Litter Star packaging looking for it to say it's harmful or anything, none, but it does say it's non-toxic... How?

My suggies all rescue case, got as adult also. Now a bit tired cuz keeping them totally seperated, so have to entertain each one also seperately, haihh...

Yeah loh, from pix also can see so fluffy Shurie's tail, she must be really happy and taken good care then smile.gif As for being well behaved, different suggie different one, I also jelous with Kiah and Miko remember tongue.gif

I think male suggies a bit more adventurous and don't like to be held much. Iggy also don't like me to hold/catch him, he will hold onto me or come to me. But Luna seems okay to be held, but right now she is still scared, so I don't pick her up or anything, letting her familiar with my hse first.

Miko had an adventure last night. She was playing in the dining room, me and Ben were not more than 10 feet away, then she disappeared!

Waah, looked high and low, up curtains and outside the house. Finally thought maybe she found a way to squeeze out through one of the closed windows.

Looked for quite a long time, then when I went upstairs, she was at the grill outside the upstairs window! Poking her nose to find a way in through the mesh.

She must have gotten out from the dining room window, climbed the roof and tried to come in through the upstair living room window.

Opened the mesh and she hopped onto my arm, leaving dirty footprints with her dirty feet on my arm.

Goodness, she gave us quite a scare O.o

The seeds of the grapes is toxic... I only give grapes once in a blue moon hahah.... really really long... anyway Kiah don't really like grapes that much.

She likes blueberries.... I like blueberries too!!!

I'll be introducing a new mix called Strawberry Swirl.... hahahah.... just stay tune later lah.

About the Litter Star breeds.... hmmm.... I'm not sure if they are harmful when swallowed.... she most likely is chewing them. I suggest you put another layer of mesh... like the fine wire mesh on top of the litter star.... hardware store got sell the fine wire mesh.... I guess Luna is just being curious since everything is new to her.

Have you started pouch bonding with her?

Hehehe... you name your gliders after cat characters.... I'm naming mine using Aboriginal names.... Now I got Kiah, meaning "From the beautiful place". As for my future glider, I wanna name him Jarrah, meaning "Eucalyptus tree"... but if he has a certain character or personality, I may change the name into some other meaning heheheh....

Shurie only allows me to hold her when she's half awake. Other times it's impossible to have a good hold onto her. tongue.gif

Btw, Shurie was sleeping like this in my pocket before I met up with Hun, she almost fell out of the pocket if I had not place her back into it. sweat.gif

anyone got name suggestion for a male glider? hmmm... got it today, and still crabs a lot. kinda scared, but its with another mate now, they get along ASAP we put them together. less than 10 min, mine and kubiz glider sleep in the same coconut, making out with each other. haha... oh by the way, both of them are males. haha... very g@y. well, wanna ask wat type of baby food is good for them and also wat type of dog food should i use. should i use the solid or liquid form?

oh, if u ask me to search for the 1st page, i already did read it and reading it now, but cant seem to see any baby or dog food written. but the guy i got from feed them with these.he uses baby food by the brand gerbes. i dont have any fridge to store this, so i'm looking for a solid or powder form of baby food which i can feed, or dog food? hope some of u can enlighten me on this. will ask him personally if i dont get aid from here. thanks again.

Why we never list dog food or cat food is because it is dangerous for them to eat. Don't you know that it can cause a disorder known as Lumpy Jaw? It is a painful mouth infection. You can still feed but it must be soaked in water but when it is wet, the taste is not palatable for gliders so many would not touch it.

Baby food, it is not that good as well. You should not use as a staple since it has not much nutritional value... it consist mostly of Vit C, a bit of fiber and carbs.... that's it. The powdered form has no taste so gliders won't readily eat it. Breeders will tell you that because they think it is ok but they never research properly on the proper diet. If you do need to make something, Google Leadbeater's Mix.... please just Google sugar glider diet.

Jon, please do some research first before you decide to feed something to your suggie. If you like, you could try Hun's mix. It's perfectly safe and most suggies love her mix. And please please please don't let them share the same cage, you wouldn't want your suggie to die of loneliness later on, would you?
