Congratz to new sg thread, version 3.
Again, I shall repeat my earlier statement here before it gets pushed to the depths of PW@Lowyat.

Oh yea, one more thing about the albino sgs.
Is anyone aware that when sugar gliders first appeared in the pet market, they were going for RM1 - 2k plus?
This is an estimation to how the price for sgs are today.
Since nobody could afford it at that time, supply exceeded demand and the price for sgs dropped considerably. When it dropped to a certain, more affordable price, SGs started to become popular so the demand for it rose.
But how are you going to get profit from an animal that can only breed twice a year? Easy, you just get lots of adult pairs and set up a sg factory.
This is how suppliers are able to meet the demand.
Now the price for sgs is set from 200 to 500 as the most expensive because if you sell too high, there will always be a market spoiler that will sell cheaper than you and everyone will end up buying from him instead of you. Ppl see it as the same product, just at a cheaper cost, without considering the difference between what you feed them, how you treat them etc.
This will probably happen to other colours of sgs if anyone decides to bring it in. A good example to refer to is hedgehogs.
This is why I encourage to buy from hobbyist breeders, not suppliers. Hey, the fact is, you pay for what you get.
