So true. Tho Yoshinoya/Sukiya is good enough to fill your tummy. More often than not its a bit bland for my taste.
For 1k Yen per meal you can go for ichiran or coco ichibanya. The curry is soo... soo... hnnghhhhhh for that price IMO.
Got so many coupons and Lupin pins when I was there from the frequent visits laugh.gif

Good laif! In a way, on a positive note - I can't take beef so that's savings for me ^___^;
1 meal 2k yen is considered pretty luxury. I have asked a Japanese counterpart on how much averagely does a local usually pay for ramen.

He said this:
Below 500yen - Cheap
Between 500-700yen - Average
700 or 800yen and above - Expensive

Agree on FAMIMA and Lawson's food. But my favourite has to be ヤマザキ ランチパック - egg mayo or ham。It's like the best bread I've eaten, missed it so much cry.gif tends to get sold out too.

Accurate enough. I recall the sets starts from about 4k up to 16k i think? Of course, the lower price wont land you the good stuff. Don't quote me on that tongue.gif
That set in pic is uh.. 11k I believe with tax. It depends on which set you choose.

I started with boiled crabs, then they presented raw and grilled crabs.
Then comes nabe withe veg and more raw crabs.
I was almost done, so I just sit back with my drink and JUMP. All of the sudden, they came and prep the almost drained broth to make porridge. I totally forgot about the porridge. Its sooooo good.
They'll let you determine how thick you want it to be. Me being a noobie just tell em 'hai, hai, ii desu, daijoibu desu' all the way.
Dinner ended with fruits...and ice cream? cant remember that..

I m confused a bit with ICOCA + HARUKA and Kansai One Pass.

If I'm get the Kansai One Pass, can I get Haruka discounted rate from KIX to Kyoto?
Or I should stick to ICOCA + HARUKA option?

Is it cheaper to buy single journey from KIX to Kyoto or return journey? But return journey I will go Osaka first before heading back to KIX.

Need the cheapest option to commute around the station. And Kansai one pass can only get it in KIX Airport?

My daily food expenses during weekdays is about 3000yen. Breakfast in kombini already about 400yen. Normally onigiri and coffee. Then lunch about 1500yen. Dinner about 1500 to 2000/pax. Sometimes if bored with Japanese food, just tapao McD or bento.
