so far i've only managed to deal with +550~+600 on the memory and +140 core until error appears, this is on Hynix memory btw.

however noticed that when i drop the power limit to +70 the memory and core adjustments seems to not take effect anymore

Hi Guys. I'm currently mining ETH with my existing GPU. Details below.

OS: Windows 7
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4G gaming
Speed: ~17.5 Mh/s
Nvidia Driver: 384.94
GPU Clock: 1501
Mem Clock: 3505

-- I've seen some people claiming that they were able to run GTX 970 up to 22Mh/s. Can someone advise on how to do this?

-- There are also some forums stating that you can set the GPU to "Optimize for computing" which help increase the Mh/s of their mining. However I can't find this option in my Nvidia control panel. Need help on this.

-- For this purpose, is it better to buy 2 GTX 1050 Ti (rated 75W vs 140W on GTX 970) and do an SLI configuration?

U need to be specific, generalised questions will get no answer.

u can use MSI Afterburner to overclock and underpower to optimize for mining, ensure u have read on internet on how to use the tool b4 changing anything, u might trash ur gpu if not careful.

stock clock for 1050ti is around 11Mh/s, optimized around 14Mh/s, so can say 2 1050ti is better than 970 with much lower power consumption. i do not own 1050ti, u may refer to this article to decide is it worth it to have 2 1050ti over 1 970: http://1stminingrig.com/nvidia-geforce-gtx...ormance-review/

Thanks bro. My GPU is already running on OC hence GPU clock at 1501. I'm planning to buy 2 1050ti but as you mentioned I think its better to run on 2 1050ti with almost the same power consumption as 1 GTX 970.

But i'm still keen on running my GTX 970 @ 22Mh/s because it will be the same as 2 1050ti in terms of hash rate and power consumption. The only difference is I won't spend money to buy 2 1050 ti.

Hope someone here can help me at least for the "Optimize to compute" option.

Wow...GPU rig now cost more than an ASIC machine...

It really depends on the components used for a basic rig with 1 GPU.
3.5k to 5K can be a rough guide based on guestimate of course without much detail to go about.

Btw, what's your monthly TNB bill cost based on your 8 GPU rig?

wow... full load seems to high...i think it just below 250w only... if fine tune can get 200w or below maybe...

i using 2 gpu just mere 320w....

3*1080ti, full system is about 620w max, min 560w.

Depending on the coins that u mine.

of course you can undervolt ,limit power of the card etc to get the best performance/watt
