QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Jun 29 2017, 08:27 PM) Team contributes a certain amount, but i tot trainer's individual damage contribution also translates into premier balls reward no? Personally, if a lot of ppl gangbang no problem, but if few are just tanking, then got issue. I kena yesterday once, first round 8 ppl ttar, filled with blissey, snorlax and D9... im dodging and attacking but timed out. Used third mon. Revived and went in 2nd round, 6 ppl.. filled vapes and D9, subsequently machamps, vapes, D9... took it out with 50 secs remaining. The group matters... LOLQUOTE(TSOM @ Jun 30 2017, 06:52 AM) That's why you need 6x Ttar... LOLQUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jun 29 2017, 09:05 PM) have a thing to ask about gym level. There are 4 so-called gym levels you can achieve. When you spin the gym stop, you get awarded a gym badge. This is at basic level (Picture #3 - right). After you earn 500xp for that gym (e.g. defending, feeding berry, spin stop, defeating another team's mon in the same gym, RAID) you get upgraded to a bronze badge (Picture #2 - middle). Then When you earn up to 4000xp you get upgraded to silver (Picture #1 - left) and when you hit 30,000xp upgraded to gold (Err... i dont have yet). Based on what i've experienced, silver badge earns around 5-6 items (5 probably if your team isn't controlling). today i parked my pokemon at a new gym, only fed once and it defended for 2 hours, but my level for that gym was already reaching towards the end. another gym, i defended for about 15 hours, fed a total of 20+ berries, but my level for the gym is only half. any reason why? i wanna level up because i read someone here commented that it will give more and better item if the gym level is higher. This is how you earn: Bronze Additional XP 500 XP Total XP 500 XP Silver Additional XP 3500 XP Total XP 4000 XP Gold Additional XP 26,000 XP Total XP 30,000 XP 1) Adding Pokémon to the Gym (+ 100 Badge XP) 2) Holding a creature at the Gym (+1 Badge XP per minute) 3) Defeating a defending Pokémon (CP of Pokémon defeated divided by 10) 4) Winning a Raid battle (+ 1000 Badge XP) 5) Giving Berries to Pokémon held at the Gym (+ 10 Badge XP, as well as 20 Stardust and a possibility of Candy) * So, in conclusion, to level up a gym badge from basic to bronze to silver to gold is similar like levelling up your TL from Level 28 to 30 to 33... the grind gets harder and takes longer. Hope this helps. ** Btw, if you purely put a mon in an empty gym and don't feed it a berry, it would need to stay there for 20 days for you to earn a gold badge... just saying... To take down fatty you need minimum 6 trainers with either type effective or high DPS mons. 2 persons are not possible, you are waiting your resources and time. Ideally 8-10 trainers are more safe. |

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jun 30 2017, 10:08 AM) thanks for the detailed explanation, i get it now. Tbh, i also was doubting this. However, it is possible that the XP you get after defeating a mon (i.e. the 10-20 amount shown on screen) is going to your trainer xp. When they calculate gym xp, COULD be different... just saying. anyway, i feel that this -> Defeating a defending Pokémon (CP of Pokémon defeated divided by 10) isnt accurate, because i see the gym xp only increase about 10-20 each time. To comfortably defeat snorlax, you need min 6-7 ppl with good, strong and matched up lineups. |

That's the only time I didn't get 11x premier balkls. I can't find any definite info on the awarding of premier balls. But based on this screenshot (not mine), individual damage does contribute. The lowest i got was 9, and it was because i entered the battle late, gave me 30 secs to choose mon (quickly select some D9 and 1 vape) ... crazy lag when wanna select...He somehow fail to grasp the concept of attack stats. Sorry bro but that's bad advice.Vaporeon's water gun was nerfed thats why its rubbish now in the meta Now its really like water pistol doing only 14dps. In comparison.. Tyranitar's Bite does 20dps and Dragonite's Dragon Tail does almost 23dps. That's why now, even against fire types.... rock/ground types are preferred over Vaporeon. Against Snorlax, Tyranitar is the best choice not just bcos attack and tankiness but also cos Lick only does 0.7 damage and it resist Zen Headbutt (half damage) My anti-snorlax line up is to place Tyranitars upfront, followed by D/Or Dragonites and last slot or 2 with Machamps since while they do a lot of damage, they are squishy ie waste potion) |

QUOTE(yeelong @ Jun 30 2017, 12:10 PM) Against Snorlax not advisable to use vaporeon in raid. You can use for fun to battle snorlax in gym... but not raid. Better use Ttar, D9, Machamp .. these 3 have high DPS and Machamp is also SE against snorlax. The other fighting type are taufu... cannot use to raid (maybe Poliwrath if desperate, but i wouldn't risk it).... LOL. |

QUOTE(1qaz1qaz @ Jun 30 2017, 01:00 PM) Yeah man... fought 6, caught 4. all < 86% iv.... going to trash them soon.QUOTE(kww @ Jun 30 2017, 01:09 PM) Very random... all RNG dependent. i think i have done 9 raids so far. 1 level 2, 1 level 3, 7 level 4 (1 charizard, the rest ttar). The first 6, i didn't receive a single TM (fast & charged). But the last 3 received 6 (coincidently, all were Ttar) Similarly, the last 2 raids, not a single golden razz. QUOTE(alien2003 @ Jun 30 2017, 01:19 PM) Have you hit > 30 raids ald? LOL.... sniper on the roof i've noticed an increasingly alarming trend. if you enter the lobby and wait, say there around 8 players, you happily select mon and get ready for battle. When you enter gym, almost half will pull out. All waiting for more than 10 players to battle. Today battled a ttar, from 8 dropped to 4 then before start drop to 2. I pulled out and re-entered with 12 players - freakin seeing 2 gyarados in there. But quite happy that i saw another 2 machamps, 1 heracross, 2 vapes , 2 D9s simultaneously battling together. On another note, they should seriously fix the lag when choosing mons. If you enter with < 50 secs, impossible to select all 6, especially in covered places. |
