Hi guys, some idiot scratched my car very badly and seems quite deep too, from the bonnet all the the way to the boot. I have never offended anyone and I always park properly, so I'm not sure what I did to deserve this.

Anyway does anyone have any shop to recommend which can fix this? Thanks.

There are envious fucks all around. That really sucks, and I know your pain. A similar thing happened to my headlight - very obvious someone whacked it.

If it happened in a mall/public car park I'm with the other suggestions to get the CCTV footage and make a police report.

If got cctv is it worth reporting to police. I don't think the police can do anything about it too?

Anyway I suspect it could be my neighbour a few houses away. Last night I parked my car around the corner of his house cos his is the corner house, so I parked around the corner, not in front of his house or near his gate. And I did not block the road or his car or anything at all. It's a public road, and I'm not sure why he is unhappy about it. Other than that I did not park anywhere else out of the ordinary the past few days and no illegal parking in malls or blocking other cars in. It's a new car so I'm very conscious of where and how I park.

Anyway thanks for the reply guys. I was hoping there was a shop I could go to touch up. I don't want to spend too much to repaint.

If got CCTV and with proof, you can make a police report under Section 427, causing Mischief. With the police report and CCTV proof, you can go to the small claims court if the total damage is below RM5,000 for all repairs. Google small claims procedure to find out more on this.

I try to look for corner parking with pillars so that more space. But only if got choice.
But if going to Aeon, Tesco, need to find a safer parking. You dont want shopping trolley to scratch your car
