Does anyone know what I can do now? Any options other than :
a) Changing the cover/headlight
b) Living with it

I noticed that I seem to have a deep gauge mark on my left headlight. The indentation is significant, but luckily the seal isn't broken. I noticed it over the weekend, but really have no idea when or where it had happened.

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Jul 11 2017, 11:21 AM) Live with it, there's no such thing as change headlight cover part only now, need to change whole set. Could cost you more than RM2000/side. Unless you are lucky enough to find a written off unit at scrap yard and have some good prying/gluing/assembling (maybe even soldering skills) to replace your scratched unit. I thought as much. It's too deep to polish actually, the indentation is like a couple of millimetres.Maybe a little polishing to make it just that little bit less obvious to make you feel better. I guess I now have a unique design on my headlight |

QUOTE(shinchan^^ @ Jul 11 2017, 01:40 PM) My larger concern is that it looks like someone tried to damage my car. Looks very unlikely to have happened when I was driving, as I would have heard the impact. So that leaves either: a) Someone hit my car when it was parked b) Someone purposely tried to damage my car |

Hi folks, good morning. During my 1K service I informed the service agent that I felt that the engine was juddering at very slow speeds (e.g. in multi-story car parks, taking slow corners) and they said they would check.
When I collected my car I was told that they checked and what I was observing was a "CVT characteristic" and nothing they could do. After that I noticed when I start my car in the morning (or any cold start) the RPM would be at 1500 and then slowly over 30 seconds or so come down to 1000. I suspect Honda decided to tune the timing in response to my feedback. I also feel that the engine over-revs now which makes the car feel less responsive (if that makes sense). Has anyone else observed this? Tips or comments? This post has been edited by cryptchid: Jul 19 2017, 09:40 AM |

QUOTE(imiziq @ Jul 19 2017, 08:43 AM) Hi all, I think it's purely dependent on how many sales the SA has made. If they have hit their quota then they don't really care about you anymore, and if they need sales to hit their quota then they are willing to give more of their commission as discounts. But if you're getting only what Honda advertises, it probably means the SA has hit their quota or the specific dealership is so successful that they don't entertain discount requests.I've just booked the TC version yesterday. The only rebate I got was 2,291.12 (Hari Raya promotion which they will extend till August). Looking at this forum, rebates varies between 2k up to 5k. How did you guys manage to get more than what is advertise in the Honda website? I told my SA and she said the rebates must follow what is advertised. ETA 3-4 weeks The only addon I wish to include is the window tinting by Honda. Looking at M - Horizon Safety & Ecotint ray barrier 4, which have the same price tag, which is more better? Is it worth to look at Ray Barrier 6 with just 500 bucks extra? Also, in regards to car mat, I found this https://www.trapo.asia/my/car-mat/classic/c...c-2016-present/ recommended, can you guys share your experience using it? Thank you for providing lotsa informations here I got the ecotint-4 for my car, and I'm not really very impressed with it. I'm ok that it's not that dark, but the heat rejection leaves a lot to be desired. From what I have observed in this forum (a limited viewpoint I'm sure), most of the folks happy with their tints did it outside of Honda. QUOTE(vinz @ Jul 25 2017, 07:19 PM) Hi guys, some idiot scratched my car very badly and seems quite deep too, from the bonnet all the the way to the boot. I have never offended anyone and I always park properly, so I'm not sure what I did to deserve this. There are envious fucks all around. That really sucks, and I know your pain. A similar thing happened to my headlight - very obvious someone whacked it.Anyway does anyone have any shop to recommend which can fix this? Thanks. If it happened in a mall/public car park I'm with the other suggestions to get the CCTV footage and make a police report. |

My steering wheel has a little tear on the bottom, while I can't see it, I can definitely feel it and it's quite annoying.
My two cents; it's the steering wheel, possibly the single most touched part of the car - shouldn't this be at least somewhat robust while still being of sufficient quality to be in a RM 135K car? I do not wear rings, nor do I have long fingernails. No children either. And I've had my car for 4 months. ** My previous City steering looked good and was unblemished with tears after 8+ years of use. This post has been edited by cryptchid: Aug 14 2017, 04:57 PM |
