Hi, am new here. Been reading the threads and it's satisfying. Read about the rubber seal for dash board and around the doors to reduce noise, want to ask the sifus... does this helps?

They should increase their QC. Not just keep pushing their 100,000 target and ruin the quality... Within just a week after car collection so many issues..  rclxub.gif
its lucky that I was exploring the rear boot.. the water just pooled at the spare tire area.. cant imagine how it's gonna be if it wasn't taken care of.. sad.gif

I check the spare tyre area and was shocked to find out that it was "plastered", dunno how to describe it...but it is well apparent the reason for doing so is to prevent water sipping through. Asked the SA during 1K service and confirms it is to prevent from becoming a swimming pool.

I got the rattling sound too

My 1.8 is the same. The dashboard rattling sound is damn annoying. I experience it during idling with gear position on "D".

If I shift from "D" to "N" at idling then there's no rattling sound but when shift to "D" and starts moving there's rattling sound.

Wanted to get SA to check but then afraid they will pull out the dashboard and make things worse

I think the main reason you don't feel the speed is due to the CVT gearbox.

We can get a feeling of how fast the car has been based on the number of gear changes in normal gear box.

This car? Just smooth acceleration without changing gear and before you know it, you are already 120km/h.  rolleyes.gif

agree. happened to me few times on the highway, the speed reaches >130 km/h without me realising and I didn't floor the pedal
