if drive at D mode..at partial throttle hold at 4000rpm the speed will drop like this 130-129-128-127..
if S mode lain cerita.. become like normal AT..rpm go up together bring the speed..not rpm go up and throw away his friend ...
*
That is because torque converter is working harder when on S mode that make us feel like normal AT, personally I feel our car need to press gently and lightly to gain max acceleration.. It feels slow but cvt is working on best gear ratio to accelerate with our turbo's boost..

Today my first to drive a long journey with my 1.5tcp on highway(around 400km per way), what surprise me is , i driving and pedal hard on the way going to KL 150-170km/h (i have a habit, i will reset my Trip B everytime my oil life drop 100km) , it hit 230km+- for the first time only my oil life drop 100km, at first i thought my oil life meter rosak, after round KL 2 day, with traffic jam, i can hit only 60++km in KL and the oil life drop 100km

On the way back , i try to monitor my oil life again , it hit 200km+- again only the oil life meter drop 100km , now my oil life is only different between 1000km from my actual milage haha, i would say if u press hard u wont get bad oil life even in highway, oil life only drop like hell if its traffic jam or short trip no matter how soft is ur right leg

If everyday run highway, u can actually run more milage than the Oil Life gauge

It's more like you are gaining back the lost oil life coz you are running at a proper optimum speed and temperature for the engine. If you drive long distance once in a while, you will get 1:1 oil life and mileage.

I'm using the Waze Beta for AA - which is actually version 4.24.0.113. I'm guessing you actually installed version 4.25.0.901 which although it's a Beta, it's not compatible with AA - and it has a nasty bug of crashing often...

As i've said earlier, only install 4.24.0.113 for Waze Beta for AA. If indeed you are running version 113, try to open Waze directly on your phone - there might be an open dialog box (rate app, facebook login, permission screen etc) - and causing the crash on AA.

If it's a cleaner wax, it means it's not pure wax and contains mild abrasives to remove stains and blemishes. It means it will shear off the coating as well to some extent.

dual zone mostly useful if you always bring your wife/gf.
i seldom use dual-zone but tcp headlight is poisoning me

I like the maps and the lady voice telling me to buckle seatbealts or release parking brakes tongue.gif. You may not use the Garmin navi all the time but driving the car with the map display on feels good for some reason.

What about FD 2.0 NA 155HP @6000rpm ?

Maybe the 1.8 could have beaten the 1.5 at that instance.
Bro andyshim89 stated he throttled to 4500 rpm (from the link shared about, 1.5T @4500 rpm is about 140HP, the 1.8 NA max is 140HP @6300).

The situation was the 1.8 catching up from behind and tailgated... it would have rev to max rpm, and probably at a higher kmph before taking open lane (air resistance advantage) to take over.
Also for the 1.5T, sudden rev of throttle to 4500 rpm doesn't mean the turbo and torque convertor able to instantly transfer all the power to the wheels.

So, when both vehicle side by side with same HP, the 1.8 may already be 10kmph faster with lower air resistance, down shifted (locked) gear at its peak.

im also thinking like that..that 1.8 sure get ready to overtake must keep a higher rpm..but im crusing speed so must take some time to boosting get up high rev..if side by side race sure 1.8 bye bye..

fd 1.8 can not overtake you if you don't change lane, keep revving to 6k rpm, he sure bye bye liao.. unless you are under pressure/stress when he tailgating you .. tongue.gif

No. Although there are a few beta releases out since 4.24.0.113 (4.25.0.1, 4.25.0.2, 4.25.0.901 and 4.25.0.902), they are all Beta versions of the "normal" Waze which does not support Android Auto... For now, the only Waze which supports Android Auto is version 4.24.0.113

Opps.. tongue.gif tongue.gif Thanks for the heads up.
