Today my first to drive a long journey with my 1.5tcp on highway(around 400km per way), what surprise me is , i driving and pedal hard on the way going to KL 150-170km/h (i have a habit, i will reset my Trip B everytime my oil life drop 100km) , it hit 230km+- for the first time only my oil life drop 100km, at first i thought my oil life meter rosak, after round KL 2 day, with traffic jam, i can hit only 60++km in KL and the oil life drop 100km

On the way back , i try to monitor my oil life again , it hit 200km+- again only the oil life meter drop 100km , now my oil life is only different between 1000km from my actual milage haha, i would say if u press hard u wont get bad oil life even in highway, oil life only drop like hell if its traffic jam or short trip no matter how soft is ur right leg

If everyday run highway, u can actually run more milage than the Oil Life gauge

It's more like you are gaining back the lost oil life coz you are running at a proper optimum speed and temperature for the engine. If you drive long distance once in a while, you will get 1:1 oil life and mileage.
I'm using the Waze Beta for AA - which is actually version 4.24.0.113. I'm guessing you actually installed version 4.25.0.901 which although it's a Beta, it's not compatible with AA - and it has a nasty bug of crashing often...

As i've said earlier, only install 4.24.0.113 for Waze Beta for AA. If indeed you are running version 113, try to open Waze directly on your phone - there might be an open dialog box (rate app, facebook login, permission screen etc) - and causing the crash on AA.

true true..i travel 200++km oil life still same..if city travel 200km you will lose more than 200km in oil life..
*
Yeah, never expect to be 200++km oil life haven drop , now really hardly finish my oil life haha

Anyway ir25, is that 2 charging for 20k service? Labour charge + oil change labour

Still in a dilemma either 1.5 tc or 1.5 tcp...

If change to 1.5 tcp need to be in waiting list again...
*
I will go for TCP , not only the WHITE lamp but also the LED signal lamp biggrin.gif

Yes u can install 3rd party HEAD LAMP at outside , but if anything shit happen , then u will bye bye to your warranty , the thing i no dare to touch is electronic part and engine part , because they are so expensive , if u say Sport rim/Tyre/Absorber is stil ok because they can easily fit at tayar shop smile.gif

alot of seller now claim that 2-3k is ORIGINAL HONDA , but some say is Malaysia set , some is china set , some is thailand set , but who know which is real or fake? I no dare to gamble with new car seriously , unless u only plan to change ur head lamp after 5 year ?

If let me choose 1.5 tc i rather take 1.8 , save the money to go modi on comestic part , wrap the leather seat , summore u no need worry about the oil life counter biggrin.gif

Last 2 days only realized is yellow light.
If change model need to wait another 3 months ago..
If stick to 1.5 TC around 2 months end Sep should be able to pick up car liao.
T.T bangwall.gif
Thanks a lot for the info...
Ya, the diff is around RM100 on the monthly installment,
just i need to change model and wait another 3 months again...

I think the main reason you don't feel the speed is due to the CVT gearbox.

We can get a feeling of how fast the car has been based on the number of gear changes in normal gear box.

This car? Just smooth acceleration without changing gear and before you know it, you are already 120km/h.  rolleyes.gif
*
my wife driving my car , when she come back she told me , wah ur car tekan like this also didn't realize already naik 120km/h cool2.gif

Another tip worth noting is to ask them NOT to clean the interior... my screen got metal panel got scratches... must be the same damn cloth used for exterior being used for interior... I actually told my SA not to clean the interior already.
*
No use, when i received my car , i do mention dont wash and clean for my car, yes i received in very dirty condition, but all my steering plastic and gear PRNDS panel there full of swirl, lol,i think it scratched when from installation factory already

Nope

LED are known to last for a very very long time and they do not generate that much of heat compared to say halogen !
*
QUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 6 2017, 07:13 PM)
Sure it will spoil, but it would be less chance compared to the usual halogen.
*
QUOTE(AhBoy~~ @ Aug 6 2017, 07:29 PM)
well.. in theory LED should last longer than "normal" halogen bulb.

But you never know.. nowadays saw a lot of Camry, Bezza, FD Civic on the road with led tail lamp burn out.
*
So once break down , it will need to replace whole set?

Some argue say led is almost can tahan for whole life without anything happen, but this can be quite impossible

I wish honda could offer the same specs as tcp but with 1.8 as well. Love the look of tcp especially the led and sports rim but dont need the turbo engine.☺
*
This i really agree, i didnt really need the turbo engine, a 1.8 is more enough for my daily usage, too bad , i feel that buying this new civic without the LED head lamp, like missing something to own this baby , i believe lot of us attract by the LED head lamp so end up , have to grab the tcp T_T

So far really no regret paying the extra, when u trigger signal, wow the front lamp LED signal light up, so nice man !!!

Led can last very long in term of hours
If accident, just claim it but if falls under wear and tear then I think u have to replace it with your own money. Warranty doesn't cover led headlamp I believe
*
I believe lamp isnt under warranty, but quite scare shit happen, led burn out , change whole head lamp for rm4k?

It is honda civic fc paint very thin or bad quality? when i received my car i notice there is alot of swirl mark before i send for coating.. haiz.. even after coating, it still easily form scratches... those fine scratch when i slide my finger tip thru, the fine scratches form. also i always wash with clean microfibre cloth.
*
QUOTE(shinchan^^ @ Aug 18 2017, 08:41 AM)
i think super thin.
especially lunar silver

someone touch with finger, can easily leave a scratch mark  sweat.gif
*
For ur guys information, swirl and scratch is nothing to do with thin or thick paint, we normally say its either hard, medium hard , soft , or super soft paint hehe

In my opinion, because im doing polish civic tcp pearl white myself, i found my paint is medium hard, because i able to finishing down with polish pad + compound, while my jazz paint is super soft, need to do 2 step polishing to finishing

So to get less scratch and swirl, have to learn how to wash ur car properly, use the correct tools happy.gif, bukan those rm5 microfiber cloth then can settle down already
