QUOTE(isr25 @ Jun 22 2017, 03:56 AM) No. Although there are a few beta releases out since 4.24.0.113 (4.25.0.1, 4.25.0.2, 4.25.0.901 and 4.25.0.902), they are all Beta versions of the "normal" Waze which does not support Android Auto... For now, the only Waze which supports Android Auto is version 4.24.0.113 Opps.. Thanks for the heads up.

QUOTE(Slevin Sent @ Jun 30 2017, 07:57 PM) Anyone experience bad wind noise and traffic noise? Drive ard 100km/h heard real bad wind noise, and when traffic jam the noise from the car beside is loud... motorcycle noise is loud and clear... If i remember correctly the test drive unit wasnt that bad Hmm.. its not that bad, but I drove a conti car as my daily driver previously and yes the NVH levels are obviously higher on the civic. Was thinking of doing soundproofing 4 doors and also been seeing this rubber strip thingy that they stick around the doors, does that really help? Saw one that charges RM200++ for it. Sigh... Not really keen on the idea of having someone disassembling the door panels to do the soundproofing la, hence the rubber strip thingy seems like worth a try. Also would it consider void warranty to do soundproofing the 4 doors by sticking sound dampening materials on the doors?

QUOTE(ucantseeme @ Jun 30 2017, 05:50 PM) @isr25 @Newbie838 thanks for sharing your opinions. It seems like maintainance wise, silver check most of the boxes in comparison with other colors. I'm still keen towards white atm. Do you guys apply any coating(or something similar along the line). Do you think it worth the investment for long term maintenance purposes ? I've got the modern steel color on my civic and it does seems to attract more bird poo (study shown that darker colored cars get poo'd on more) than my previous car which was white. In terms of maintainance wise, white isn't too bad to care for, its always the dirt strips that happens to occur below the side mirrors (door panel / front fenders) that will annoy white car owners. As for coating, I did it with 3M coating and saves alot of time when you wash your car. Even some of the bird poo slides off upon contact or washed away when rained. For me it's worth the investment to protect your car with coating. Another cheaper alternative is to DIY, get clay bar, glaco windscreen products, and self-coating products (e.g. Soft99 Fusso coat - 12months).

QUOTE(ucantseeme @ Jul 1 2017, 04:53 AM) Thanks for the suggestions folks, it's very helpful. Thanks for introducing Soft99 to me, I was shock about all the reviews online about how useful and reliable it was. If that's the case, I guessed I'll be a happy guy if I were to go with WOP + Soff99 Fusso Coat. Guessed it would be a good combo. But of course, it will even better if the coating (or detailing) was done by the professional with appropriate equipment, skills and stuff. I second you guys that it will be a worthwhile investment. Apart of me been thinking to save up those money and spend it on aesthetic mods instead, you know, the usual grille, wrap, body kits and stuffs Not necessarily the professionals will do a better job unless you pay those RM4k+ that comes with 5-7years waranty on coating, end of the day it's not their own car... they won't put as much TLC as a owner will. If you are very OCD and meticulous, doing your own may also yield good satisfying results. Just make sure you read and follow the instructions on those car care products. Also by doing it yourself, you get to know your car better. Find out things you might miss when collecting the new car and then you can report it when you send it in for your first 1k km service.

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 10 2017, 10:42 AM) Should include accessories in your insurance - just added mine this year. Yeah, just request for them to update your firmware. A caveat though - i never had the severe problem some users face: clicking continuously even while stopped. I only got the problem sometimes: clicking when driving on uneven surfaces. But since updating the firmware, didn't hear anything out of the norm. Anyway, still have 4 years of warranty, so I have no worries whatsoever. Not sure if mine being new batch (got my car early Jun 2017), so far no clicking sound but does the clicking sound issue occur for all both 1.8 and 1.5? Or more commonly for the 1.5 turbo versions? Just covered 3k km only, not sure if I'm commenting prematurely... but fingers crossed hopefully don't get any issues with my 1.8 btw, any recommendations where to get a good set of car mats? or at least for the driver side.
