In multi, it took us almost 20 minutes to capture it. Oh, if you play ranged, avoid the jump, tremor and headbutt finisher, and dragon breath will one shot you with 200 hp with negative dragon res. Headbutt pretty much one shot.

Lol, just beat temp jho solo using lance ez mode. Took a while but its definitely the most stable and guaranteed way to beat him. Imo bow is still a lot more riskier, youre not only weaker to physical attack and even if youre range jho has no problem reaching you because of his body length and quick moves

He probably the sole reason I will build a lance to cheese. Ranged against him is too nerve wrecking, especially in multiplayer.

If I'm not mistaken, I think it appears in HR11 or HR12. Hmm...Just when you hit High Rank, perhaps?

7-Star optional quest from the Smart Biologist. HR13 or higher

Or meet one during Expedition and be quick before it leaves the locale.

the wind blast kinda hit immediately , and windblast side effect is wide.

OMG tempered Jho is a very different beast altogether!

I guess Capcom heard majority complaining the HR Jho is waaay to easy, and dial the difficulty to the max on the tempered version, and sit back with a bucket of popcorns

It's HR50 quest so it's the same as tempered elders, except this time you kena whacked all the time.

Monster HP is lower. and less chance for unknown pugs to mess up.

I have been doing multiplayer ever since reach HR, kinda getting lazy now. lol.

solo still the most fun for me. unless its your own friends and squad. my favourite is solo xeno. so damn syiok.

I am getting old and my reflex is not as good anymore! So i want to just stand aside, lay some traps. The attacking and avoiding the others can do them. The last mob I solo was Kirin, after that I was just tired of it. lol.

By the way, are there any armors that aggro the monster? Like I find the monster chasing me a lot even though there are 3 other players there. Kinda annoying really.

monster have attack priority. like range users have a higher priority than melee users.

No I play insect glaive.

I would love to use Bow, lightbow or light bowgun, tried them. Ranged are good lazy people like me!
Love lightbow gun, feels like shooting machine gun. Don't know how to use bow to have any DPS at all.
