i just got the Warrior's Streamstone after completing a Tier 2 (HR30+) tempered monster quest. i was at HR54 and turned HR55 after the quest. visit the Smithy and he will unlock Augment Equipment option thereafter

an item from completing HR30+ tempered quest (not sure certain or random reward) which can then be used for augmentation of equipment.

if you happen to see the skill(s) you are looking for in Alpha can forge that first.
if you have the decoration/gem(s) on hand (or think you will get sooner or later) to insert into the armor slot then Beta is there for that added flexibility btw, some Alpha armor also have slots ... just lower level or less number of slot than the Beta variant. nope. they just hit harder in general and for some monster there is minor variance in their attack pattern or aggressiveness.

the title of 'blocking any shit' has to go with Lance in my opinion. because you can shield evade (or shield forward attack) too.

you mean with normal guard? with Guard+3 and above it's generally negligible

Btw I think you meant Azure Rathalos but there really is a Silver Los just not in MHW (as yet?). Pressing Square will only equip the flash pod. You still have to aim L2 and shoot it with R2

No, the 2 tempered pink Rathian and azure rathalos in arena u mentioned is a 9-Star optional quest.
The name is “New World Sky, New World Flower” (armory given quest after u fight 7 different tempered tier2 monsters) I meant fighting it in solo mode was challenging and exciting. But the fun part on the Arena is not becoz how strong the monster, is becoz of the mess of two tempered sub-species flying around and spamming fireball in the tiny arena xD |

yeah, I initially got MHW with aim to play solo only. my network NAT issue was just resolved this week thus could test some online session play.
Did 2 quest with link88 yesterday (re-enactment of Diablos horn farm) and he can confirm how out of sync I am since hiatus after MH3U. will see you online I’m sure but I’ll just follow casually to support quest. No voice chat and getting a little old for this ... Btw, you still have the Poogie figures? you are able to capture a Deviljho but stuck at assigned quest at HR11 ... well that’s a new one

there is still some “story” remaining. the actual HR is stored even though it’s displayed as a ceiling value currently

yes, anything that grants HR value will be accumulated.
