Lol if you think monster's gems are hard, try farm hero streamstones for your specific weapon then you will know daora's gem is just a child play. I already farmed for three days and yet no luck on getting one..sigh

Hero stones when can farm? after which quest or HR? currently im HR53

there are lot of factors take into consideration, more so in preparation. Do you have the right weapon to use? do you have the right armor to use? do you have the right items to use? do you have the right meal buff to use?  does your cat equipped with the right weapon/skill for the hunt?

During the fight, do you take in consideration about environment traps and stuff that can help u in your fight? do you really know how to use your weapon? do you always spam combo instead of learning the pattern of your target monster? do you know u can ask other cats to help u in the fight? do u know how to use the tools that are available for you that can help u in your fight?

As the game title said, it's monster hunter. It's a hunt. Not a hack and slash game. Preparation and planning is the key to success. You fail to plan means you plan to fail. Do not ignore all the little things that can help u. These little things will help u in the long run.

To me, a normal hunt duration is usually around 10 minutes. 8 minutes if is easy. 15 - 20 minutes if is hard. If is more than 20 minutes means you are doing something wrong.

You can let us know what weapons/armor u are currently equipping, how u prepare for the hunt, and what u usually do during the hunt, then from there we can advice you how you improve from there.

If you are in HR..you might need Shit Bomb.
Bazel will find and screwed you almost all the time.
Unless you are to OP ofc.

killing will get yield chance for gem or ruby ?
If yes then I might need to start killing them.
90% of the time I capture, unless some 'accident' happen.
I'm still in early high rank, so most of the monster can be capture.

Was farming Nergi for tail. Managed to cut off Nergi's tail, then someone joined the hunt without me sending SOS. He has LR armor, using DB. Pursued limping Nergi into it's lair. He fainted when Nergi got angry. I prayed he doesn't return but guess what, he came back and fainted again and I failed the quest

but nergigante attack sometime is annoying....he can stun me by touch me only( only touch... not hit) ...... guess what??
he flew up and crush me... 1 hit ko although i am with full level dragon resist deco...   

how to kick?

Anybody got tips for hr100 quest, the sapphire stars guidance? 3 tempered elders in 50 minutes is really pushing it lol. Also solo or sos?

where can I get thunderproof mantle eh? already got bandit mantle tho. HR59 atm

I tried Investigation Quests for a few times but it'll automatically back to the camp site once completed the said quest. Maybe I should just re-register certain Investigations and hunt monster from there.

Upon completing Investigation Quests, will I get leveled up? Currently at HR8 and my Palico at Level16.  My kitten is higher rank than me. 

Addendum: As for the Flashpod, I have to press L2 aim at the front of the monster (hoping the monster will see at that direction) and press R2 to shoot right? It's not aiming directly at the monster, right?

I've seen worse.
- people denying your carve by keep hitting you while carving. Good thing the next update will fix this
- people who join your session and immediately leave, leave you with the scaled monster alone.
- people who hunting different targets than the quest

Do you all actually use the voice chat function? Cause I never switch on the voice thing ever since I got my PS4.
So i don't know if people are shouting in the mic or not. LOL.

Lol, just beat temp jho solo using lance ez mode. Took a while but its definitely the most stable and guaranteed way to beat him. Imo bow is still a lot more riskier, youre not only weaker to physical attack and even if youre range jho has no problem reaching you because of his body length and quick moves
