I've been shoving cryptocurrency into my brain for the past week and is looking to purchase 1 or 2 btc for the 1st time.

Question is when is the best time with the price seems slightly volatile at the moment and the impending hard fork.

Which is the best exchange site for Malaysian atm?

My plan is to keep it for long term investment.

Not also because of traders/investors running  to USDT?

If one were to reserve some USDT today, would have made a killing buying discounted coins.

i just know when POLO/BITFINEX price was much lower than COINBASE, i multiplied USDT and i get back the same as coinbase.

perhaps if u keep USDT then u get to buy lower price than the rest.

no difference = USD 1.01 to 1Tether
got USD 200 difference = USD 1.05 to 1Tether

I meant selling off BTC to USDT when it was almost almost USD 3k or when bad news comes out. I did sell off some altcoins to bitcoins but not useful in such circumstances.

While you wait you lose the opportunity to make a greater gain too. Speaking about opportunity cost drool.gif

The guy is buying bitcoin for long term investment.

It matters to him that the price is relatively "low".

So to wait until after 1st August is a good recommendation.

This is true. But need to ensure capital preservation although I feel the upside of crypto is great. It's like a roller coaster. Up and down. And sometimes upside down. But it will Always go up n down. How high and how low Nobody knows... Enjoy the ride only on the amount u can afford to lose

yes when it's too high better to sell off hold fiat or USDT

when BTC drop ur holding all sure pokai.
or u can mark down whatever coins that has dropped lets say 30%. sell your BTC at 3k, buy those discounted coins lo.
at least it has dropped so much and hard to go any lower.

BTC already at 2.1k and these idiot Luno sellers never wake up. I don't understand why there are still buyers paying such premium.
