Ok. Just a small percentage to reserve some BTC and USDT for the next dip.

USDT is pegged to USD so it only make sense to 'invest' in USDT if you want to take a break from the volatile market or if you think btc is going to dip.

It is difficult to buy cryptos using real money i.e. fiat money.

When the market crashes, most of the coins will crash including BTC. If you're just holding BTC, you will not get the benefit of buying coins at a discounted price. If you reserve some USDT, which is supposedly equivalent to USD, you will have the pseudo-fiat money to pick up coins on the cheap.

I previously reserved BTC because when BTC surges higher, altcoins take a hit. High BTC price to buy discounted altcoins. A good deal! Recently, BTC drops together with the rest, making BTC useless in this scenario. Hence the reason why it would be good to reserve some USDT too.

In short:

BTC shoot up, making altcoins bleed - use BTC to buy altcoins....
BTC drops together with altcoins - use USDT to buy all coins!
