Okay. So most here still got oversea accounts to use on gemini.

There goes what i have learn here, total waste. Initially was quite excited due to mega sales. Even already standby ammo to buy since morning. Portfolio i think drop 15-20%, buying price premium 10-15%(which i dont buy yet). Total 25-30%? Good time to DCA down, but well....suck to be Malaysian tho.

I think the first page need bolder statement to warn Local Malaysian on cryto trade. 10-15% premium is standard.

It is still in processing now?

I requested withdrawal at 11am just now and cut off time should be 2pm and release at 3pm. The status is still in processing.

Release at 3 pm ..so as per GIRO, you will get around 11PM. But normally will be in by 9.30 to 10 pm.

Sometimes their website says processing though you have received your funds.

So far fund release from Luno as per schedule for me bro.

That's why mining is better.

Send mined bitcoins to LUNO.

Sell to Malaysians at a huge premium.

Gain from mining and gain from selling. laugh.gif

Oh I see. Thanks for this clarification.

Are they using Maybank to send out funds?

But I want more limit and now on Level 1. Can direct send IC and proof of address sekaligus or need stage by stage?

It really depends on the period (mostly during prolonged sideways movement). My previous purchases from Luno were mostly RM100 above than global prices. When BTC falls, not many msians wanna sell, which is why it sticks to the 10-11k range, these guys know it will rebound back within days (if not hours)

Actually, I just checked with XBit Asia about 30 minutes ago, and the lowest sell price was only about 3% higher than the global average price I saw on Coinmarketcap.
Personally, I have not seen a 15% premium before.

One thing that crossed my mind is that maybe (just maybe) the prices in Malaysia are delayed and not as quick as the global average, hence when prices are dropping, the prices on Malaysian exchanges don't drop as fast, so you will be seeing a larger difference.

Another thing to note is that we should never use the global average as a true gauge for our own buy prices, that will just get you depressed and frustrated.
Most countries' prices fluctuate 3 - 5% above or below the global average prices anyway.

Don't refer to polo's USDT price, it's 1.03 1.05 now.

Check Gemini, GDAX and Coinhako for a better comparison.

Aaaa... shucks. Even BTC on standby can't do much. Not much discount except for those coins tied to USDT on Polo. Should have converted some to USDT earlier.

If you see USDT, it spiked past one day: https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tether/

Oh well, learn a new thing today. Next time will be ready and standby both BTC and USDT! bruce.gif

Not also because of traders/investors running to USDT?

If one were to reserve some USDT today, would have made a killing buying discounted coins.
