Here is the spreadsheet for my ethereum mining contracts with Genesis and Hashflare.

The is the ersult after 3 days of Genesis mining.

Even at today's depressed ETH price of $325, the average return per day is around RM100.

Not bad.

Imagine if the price of ETH shoots up again by the end of the year. biggrin.gif

This one deserves a mention too

https://crushcrypto.com/omg-ico-analysis/

More people need to know such opportunity exists.

Not all ICOs are scams and PnDs

After Status, Fun Fair, TenX, and Omise

In July there's another big one, REX, decentralized real estate listing

Great! As I'm out of ideas on what coin to buy, I think I will start taking up ICOs that I think has potential.

Say, where do you actually get the news on upcoming ICOs? hmm.gif

Technically speaking, it is due to the increase in size of the ethereum DAG file.

The ethereum algorithm, ETHASH, uses a DAG (directed acyclic graph) for the PoW (Proof-of-Work).

This is generated for each epoch, i.e every 30,000 blocks (100 hours).

The DAG takes a long time to generate.

If clients only generate it on demand, you may see a long wait at each epoch transition before the first block of the new epoch is found.

In effect, it slightly reduces the effective hash rate of your mining GPUs.

Well, my personal opinion is: stay away from this writer's articles......they're complete garbage.

The fellow made up an imaginary friend in his head, had an imaginary conversation with his imaginary friend, and when this imaginary friend could not knowledgeably and convincingly explain bitcoin to him, he got angry with bitcoin.
It's just like when people who know nothing about cryptocurrencies, say that they are Ponzi schemes and money games.

cloud mining is even higher risk than buying gpu running it yourself. what you purchase is 'hash rate' thats all. i wouldnt try to explain more judging that theres a fan boy for cloud mining here. at least i can have 12 gaming pc if mining die off, cloud mining hug your hash rate.

There are pro and cons on cloud mining

But i only can say if you invest into cloud mining you just need to pray for the price of the coins you mine to go up lol if not then same as you throw your money into the sea.

Buying GPU to mine ...i can sell off my rig if the coins keep going down. But the thing i cant take it for mining myself is that the heat and the stupid fan noise

Guys how do you day trade based in Malaysia? Are there any exchanges we can access where we can sell ETH/BTC for fiat stored within the exchange?

Hehe, as mentioned, it was not about the content. Just want to throw a cautionary reminder that not all is rosy in cryptoland. Getting caught up in the excitement of making money and losing control by dumping in more than one can afford. Great when one can make lots of money but be prepared to lose. smile.gif

Like I said earlier, I am not a hardware guy who likes to mess around with mining rigs.

I just can't stand the heat and fan noise generated.

For custom mining rigs, you have to flash the BIOSes of GPUs with miniing orientated features instead of gaming (power optimization and fan noise suppression).

You need to fix unplanned hardware component failures and incurring downtime while doing so.

You need to regularly update the mining software to keep abreast with algorithm changes and possibly OS updates as well.

Your TNB bill will rise significantly as you increase the hash rate of your rig, together with increased heat and fan noise.

I rather pay someone to bear with all these and do the dirty job for me. I just sit back and collect coins in a quiet and cooling environment. biggrin.gif
