cloud mining is even higher risk than buying gpu running it yourself. what you purchase is 'hash rate' thats all. i wouldnt try to explain more judging that theres a fan boy for cloud mining here. at least i can have 12 gaming pc if mining die off, cloud mining hug your hash rate.

QUOTE(cofin @ Jun 16 2017, 12:04 PM) There are pro and cons on cloud mining yeah pros and cons. same like forex trading scheme, some likes to give their money to trade in forex. some prefer to trade forex themselves. end of the day im jusy to highlight the risk of crypto , cloud mining and hardware mining. But i only can say if you invest into cloud mining you just need to pray for the price of the coins you mine to go up lol if not then same as you throw your money into the sea. Buying GPU to mine ...i can sell off my rig if the coins keep going down. But the thing i cant take it for mining myself is that the heat and the stupid fan noise |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jun 19 2017, 02:55 PM) u mine, u use local wallet, desktop. Do not use exchange. Not POLO fault. other exchanges also the same. till now i have been using this method, if the coin is transferred to my polo etc address. it should be there. why its not their fault if i transfer my coins there and went missing? explorer showed completed, explorer show my polo etc address has the amount but polo didnt show i have the amount. imagine you transfer your coins from wallet to polo for trading and it went missing, not their fault ? how funny is that.I use JAXX wallet. U can run linux... its not that hard. |

QUOTE(man_evolution @ Jun 19 2017, 02:45 PM) Hello all, you can forget about mining with gpu if you do not have the said gpu on hand now. go for cloud mining, gpu mining might took you 3~6 months to get the gpu u mentioned.I just newbie into ETH mining & plan to build mining rig with 1-2 GPU first..If got more $$$ than can slot it later..I have found free mining software called "MinerGate"..Isn't the software reliable to use on Windows & supported GPU like RX480? Anyone can recommend which software was good for ETH Mining? Can I put the mining rig on room without aircond? Appreciated for respond. Thanks. |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jun 19 2017, 04:24 PM) yup, it is correct, new MANTA, customer is not always right. U want my service, u follow my rules. U don't follow, u better seek other alternative. We don't want your business, we don't care if u put a bad remarks. Our business is thriving. its a warning sign of system problem, thats all i want to say. mine directly into exchange isnt something new to me, doing it since day 1.U want to complain? go ahead. those are words that i'm getting lately. Again, do not send mining coins to exchanger. Bittrex or whatever are same. |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jun 19 2017, 06:19 PM) not sure, haven't try this class B GPU. will setup and update here. the 650W was a recommendation from seller. gtx cards are always too expensive for ethash mining. its just that now the mining price is good, amd cards are off the shelf. ppl go for gtx, ROI is slower but nvidia cards have their value elsewhere. im just curious on the 650w for 6 cards. rx 470 570 running 100w per card, thats 600w without adding in system. maybe these 560 drawing 50 w ?stock cards run 11-12MH/s. Modded will give u about 14MH/s Not bad, 14x6=~84MH/s and some more its low cost. Get 2 rigs and u are better than GTX1060 x 6 cards (cost wise and HASH wise) |

QUOTE(AllnGap @ Jun 22 2017, 09:35 AM) i do not know the exact details, because crypto is unregulated as compared to stocks and others. wow, thanks... finally know how they did it ... but how they make money out of this ? dump till margin in system for selling and pick it up again?flash crash is basically some fucker who dumps supper massive black hole orders. then their order matching thing couldnt keep up with it and crashed. if lets say the remaining order from $300 to $10 got 10k lots of orders waiting. then this bugger dumped(SOLD) 20,000 lots in a blink. so his orders basically absorbed everything from $300 to $10. then it shot back up when the the matching machinery became normal again. then they tell u their system crashed. but u must understand there are threshold where the system cannot take it, that's where those fuckers can manipulate, from $300 to $13. usually exchange dont cover for flashcrash. |

QUOTE(AllnGap @ Jun 22 2017, 10:44 AM) http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-21/e...o-clogs-network this should be stick to the main page as a reminder for all newbies....u can read here The crash appears to have been catalyzed by seller submitting a market order to dump roughly $30 million worth of ETH (96.1k) in one go, which obliterated the order book. 96.1k can crash ETH market. GDAX just sold a good chunk of my ether at 10 cents each! So I had a stop order at 316, when GDAX went down (for whatever reason) all my ether was sold at the highest (at the time) price available. When I logged in I saw a small USD amount, I though it was a hiccup. Checked the fills and indeed it was sold at 10 cents. There is no way this will be reversed right? If that's the case I believe I will be leaving the crypto market at least until it stabilizes. Just lost 3k in the blink of an eye. ![]() |

QUOTE(blueblueoutofblue @ Jun 22 2017, 10:52 AM) those on margin short.. ma earn like they can refund IF the sold ETH is still within its wallet. if its transferred out, i dont think they can absorb such losses. Pro and cons of unregulated and decentralized and this is one of the con. no ppl can control unless we go vote for a fork again haha.i think GDAX will refund ba... look back at the April bitcoin crash |
