Hi all,

I am using c7 v2 with version 3.15.1 Build 160715 Rel.50549n. Realised my router have frequent disconnection & unable to connect again until I restart it.

Anyone facing such problem and can diagnose the issue? Is it firmware problem?
*
No problems like that when I was using it initially. Could be router overheating.

QUOTE(Alert_RaZO @ Mar 5 2018, 10:35 PM)

Any VDSL supported modem router similar or better performance then ADSL2+ Archer D7?.
Going switching from streamyx to unifi lite.
*
Only two D-Link models now that support VDSL. The TP-Link models that support VDSL have not been released yet.

Am I missing any thing?
Or any alternative?

block browsing of facebook and youtube through mac address
i don't want to use the parent control function.

can guide me step by step to setup ? thank you
*
Hi bro, not possible to do that sorry using the C3150, unless you use the parental control function. You can only do that by using enterprise routers.

Dear tplink, I would like to question on, who is the responsible person to pass the c3150 router? How come, a router which considered a high end router for tplink brand doesn't come with cpu load and memory usage graph? I am currently testing this router and I would like to know the answer for my question from any of your representative. Thanks.
*
Great question bro, but I don’t think TP Link will answer the question unfortunately. Better to email them directly: https://www.tp-link.com/my/support-contact....Hotline-Support

Bro, there’s no speed limit setting for TP-Link routers, even for Asus routers.

I've only used these 2 models. C5 has speed limiting, C1200 doesn't.
*
I stand corrected, some older models do have speed limiting, but the newer firmware seem to have omit this feature.

I bought a TPLink Archer MR200 for CCTV usage... bought Digi broadband as well. I can connect&view the cctv via mobile app (provided by the manufacturer), but when I try to access using my office computer, it does not work. As I understand, it has to do with Private and Public IP. Anyone got solution? if not its ok, my main question is below.

I enabled remote access. added no-ip.com but unable to remote access my router, in case I wanted to re-boot or something.
*
Bro, the mobile providers are only going to issue you with private IP. You won't get public IP from them.

You won't be able to remote access, even if you use no-ip as you can't port-forward, as you have a private IP. No-IP just helps you to update your dynamic IP address, but has nothing to do with helping you with port-forwarding.

Hi,

I m currently using default WLAN router ,RG 4332 provided by tm and it is started to give me problem.

Am looking for compatible replacement for RG4332.

Any suitable router from TP link? I am still using VDSL 2, not FTTH
*
Not from TP-Link. D-Link, yes. Two models. See here:

1) http://www.dlink.com.my/product/ac1200-wir...bit-4-port-iad/

2) http://www.dlink.com.my/product/dsl-2877al...s-modem-router/

I would recommend the first link.

Hi

I am not sure if I need an upgrade or not but need some advice for my home net work situation. Previously I am using UNIFI 50 Mpbs plan with their stock router Dlink 850L with TP- Link AV500 Pass through Powerline Wifi Kit. My PC connected via wifi to the plug extension via wifi and able to get the speed by the network provider. However after upgrading to the 100 Mpbs plan, I am able to get the speed promised (UL 100 DL 50) when I run speed test on the Dlink network 5GHz wifi band and LAN connection to the D link router. However on the powerline adapter I only able to get DL 50-65 Mpbs UL 30-40 Mpbs using network cable and wifi connection. I have make sure no other user connected to the network when I ran the test. So I believe the bottleneck could be from the powerline side. What do I need to do to fully get the 100 DL and 50 UL? Thanks. nod.gif
*
Power line is crap for WiFi and crap for LAN as well as it depends on the power line, best thing you can do is to get another router with a higher coverage and connect to the 5GHz of that router or get a wired connection to the router.

archer c60 ipv6 unifi setup? thanks in advance
*
Lol why do you want IPv6 anyway? It is not implemented well in Malaysia at all, and this router is old. You would do better switching router, to something newer, like the C7 v4. If you still want to configure it, read the manual here: https://static.tp-link.com/res/down/doc/Arc...0(EU)_V1_UG.pdf

Hi i have an archer C7 V2 hardware.. flashed the latest Malaysian firmware.. after setup the internet is working fine.. but when i turn on my Hypptv the internet is gone.. i have to turn off my Hypptv and restart the router to make the internet work again.. anyone ever had this situation before?
*
Not really. Check to see if HyppTV is connected to Port 4 on your router and it is VLAN tagged correctly, which is VLAN600. The rest of the ports should be VLAN500, which is for Internet.

Do it need to be lan 4.. when I select the Unifi profile it defaulted to port 1 = vlan 600
*
No. You can plug your HyppTV cable to port 1.

Same with me. Till now I cannot sort it out.
*
You can both disable hardware NAT under ‘NAT’, it will be okay then. The new firmware supposed to fix that, but I guess not.

Alright. Will try later. So after upgrade the firmware need to disable the NAT?
*
Just try upgrading the firmware first. Then, if it still doesn't work, disable the Hardware NAT.
