i tried your method but same result. i declare c1200 is not usable at all. i am going to complain to tm and see if they can get me another model as in not c1200! Still not satisfied with the wifi router they gave me. my friend gave me a 2013 old wifi router that was given free to TM back then, its the riger model. I test using that no problem at all for 2 days and counting.

They will give you the DIR-850L lol, which is slightly better but not by much. Good luck.

I'm goin nuts troubleshooting the TPlink NC230 IP camera. the camera became offline right after 8am ++. Therefore I need to switch off and ON again to make it work and it last until 745-815 am roughly. Soon after, before 9 am the camera went offline again.

The thing is I have another unit of NC230 connected with the same router AC3150. the rest are ok.
*
Just RMA it bro, TP Link is usually good with warranty issues and they have good customer service.

Yes, less than 30 users

Will recommend you this modem router as you are using Streamyx: http://www.lazada.com.my/d-link-ac1200-2x9...d6568pta5O&mp=1

It supports VDSL and fiber as well for future use when and if you are able to upgrade to Unifi or Maxis fibre.

Pls. recommend me a router for printing wireless.
*
Any router can do that, if it has a print server function. TP-Link routers are good for that as well.

See here: http://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-415.html

Note is for printing wirelessly only. So TL-WR841N ok aaah?
*
I don't think so as bro blacktubi has said. I would recommend you switch to another better router to utilize that function, with the very least being the C1200, but I would recommend the C7.

You are using the just released Archer C2300? That’s cool. Everything is all logged in correctly PPPoE etc? If you are not using TP Link cloud, you can login locally normally and everything is connected?

*
You should be able to download from the router itself. Log into your router locally, and go to firmware upgrade and search for a firmware upgrade and update it from there.

Same floor, 10 meters, almost 2 walls.

btw,the KIT, will it work as long as the electrical outlet is within the same condo unit? I like the solution, i'm just worried if it wont work inside my house once i get it for that price.
*
Yes bro. It will work if you are on single phase wiring. I recommend you to get it from this reliable seller that I often buy from: http://www.lazada.com.my/tp-link-dual-band...38312.html?mp=1

*
You are able to connect to the internet normally, so should be able to update, and sync the time with the NTP server. Just wait for Tp Link MY to reply to you.

TP-Link just released a firmware update for Archer C1200 and it should fix the ongoing issues.

http://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-2050.html
*
Hi bro, it is only for US firmware unfortunately and TP Link does have a disclaimer that if there are any warranty issues and your firmware does not correspond on what is released for your local version, it voids the warranty so I wouldn’t update the firmware yet until it is released for the Malaysian website.

Chromecast just kill my C2600, connection dead.
1. off TV (sharp FHD LED TV)
2. re set chromecast (tested x3 times, kill 3 times)
3. re start C2600 ( hidup again without chromecast)
4. WT@#$%^, & wait for update.
*
Bro I don’t want to be the messenger that brings you bad news but the C2600 has reached it’s EOL or end of life in Malaysia and I don’t think they will issue any firmware update for it here. But, if you dare and if you are desperate, you can wait for the firmware update to be released in USA, and flash to USA firmware that fixes the problem.

I know, so far my C2600 still in good working condition without chromecast, no issue so far with chromecast audio (touch-wood). Worst I might just get a 3150 or 5400 once Times broadband hit my condo.
*
Don’t have to change then bro. Leave it until you need to use it.

They do have the EU version (which is what we use) on the FAQ.

Just updated mine (unifi EU V1) to the beta firmware. It wipes out all your settings, so before upgrading, make sure you keep your unifi username and password handy.

Turns out the unifi specific firmware makes the router way shittier than it already is. After upgrading to the beta firmware, I noticed two big thing:
1. I no longer have to deal with the shitty @unifi thing on my SSID. It's no longer there.
2. There's a check for update button on the firmware settings page.

Waiting for the Malaysian specific update might take a while (and there's two version locally, the TM and Time version), so if you're comfortable dealing with your router settings, I dont see any issue with upgrading with the firmware they provided. If shit go south, just flash the old firmware back.
*
Oh bro, they updated the FAQ. There wasn’t an EU version then, only the US version. Thank you for the feedback though. If it helps, the definitely upgrade to the EU version.

During the connection got wifi, once you start setup with chromecast, it kills almost c2600 wifi immediately.

Yes, it is indicative of the Chromecast issue. Google will be issuing a patch soon, later today or tomorrow at the latest, local time. See here: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/01/18/ch...t_flooding_fix/

Hi

Do you guys know how to setup TL-WR1043ND to connect to VPN services like ExpressVPN, IPVanish and etc?

I have been looking for the PPTP or L2TP option but it seems to be missing.
*
You will have to use third party firmware as bro blacktubi said and yes, I would suggest you change to a more powerful router anyway as that is quite a dated router that does not support AC.

I feel the router may have similar functionalities like this router. Dlink already came up with such device. It is the time for tplink to rock again.

Bro, the Archer VR1200v is for ADSL and VDSL connections and definitely not for fibre connections. Sorry to burst your bubble.
