hi all, just wanna ask for suggestion, what brand of lights should i get for my planted aquarium? i wanted to plant grass... i have two lights, but it kept on spoiled and waste a lot of my money to buy new ballast and also the fluorescent lamp. So, what brand is the best? my tank size is :
length : 50cm
Width : 34 cm
Height : 35cm

my co2 is the zigzag style... and is DIY wan... btw, i only have fertilizer in the soil... do u recommend any liquid fertilizer and wat brand is good?

depend on the plant you intent to plant...some adsorb nutrient thru their leaf...some thru their root...
fertilizer in the soil...u buy one is like a ball green colour one? JBL brand?
i using JBL liquid fert+seachem flourish...

I just use a china made light...14w...making my glosso thrive for light terribly...so i also looking for lighting like you also...
lubang already found...but need to save some bullet first baru can buy and mod...

FYI, i'm using MIC T5, with eballast built in... RM18/tube....
with 5 tube, my glosso din shoot up....

i mean 3ft tank, as the tube also 3ft long, another RM20 to get the reflector....

Went to SLS today but its closed on every Wednesday! bahhh...
Then went to Taman Megah LFS but doesn't have the stones i need. Then went to search at the Centrepoint's LFS also don't have the stones... Adui.. where else got ah?
