the stem plants grow vr vr fast.... 1 day can manage half inch... jz a few days reach to the top of the water surface adi... need frequent trimming....

no need. bacterballs in the soil, maybe u can buy one external filter and make bio-filter.. no span , those charcoal carbon, bioballs, etc water changes does reduce abit if not mistaken. but the main point of do water change is to control the excess amonia produced. the dosing, im oso not sure .. noob at fert dosing.

i heard rummynose tetra vr hard to survive... mine survived the water pail and 2 weeks before travelling back to ipoh... haha... during dat period, my rummynose looks like ikan bilis, what color also dun have.... haha.....

my oto looks vr small wor... i thought the oto still young, datz why eat a little....

haha .. like that u better buy a aiyah .. err . i forgot the name .. its in a bottle . if put, it will make the usefull bacteria grow faster..

or .. make one filter on ur own lor . a plastic container.. buy small water pump.. goes in a plastic cointainer put bio-elements and make an outlet 2 inches below from the height of the container ... place it a little higher so the container outlet goes into the tank ..

this is what i do when i still hv my koi pond .. same thing just smaller scale ..for a tank ..

so many job ahh??... dun wan first la... haha... now my plants growing well... if pertumbuhan terbantut only do la...

now my next target is pressurized co2 tank.... i jz change a new mixture for my 4 days old diy co2..... not even a week habis adi... apalah...

my last co2 mix laster 3 weeks .. but must shake2 every two days .. ... but getting the co2 is far more better ...

when my co2 mixture runs out, even i shake also last few minutes before running out again...

cambomba can survive without CO2

as i can see is u try to tanam those pokok, not scaping them....

try to see see look look at ppl's tank, and get more idea on how it should be....

all go around loh. wood normally u need to buyw hen u see. even u don' tneed it. when u see nice one worth to keep for future use.

back from yumcha, saw my SAE lying dead on the table outside the tank...

any of u guys got case where fishes alwiz jump out from the tank??... my previous casualty was rummynose tetra....

This is a very interesting thread.
I just want to know what type of small fish have the longest lifespan?
I heard from my friend said that keeping fish is pointless as the small fish die very fast due to their short lifespan.
Is it true?
