i was thinking of puting my digi postpaid 50 under the family plan which cost rm28. cheaper. but the call is only for 50 minutes. its a bit troublesome to change simcard just only for the sake of using the unlimited call.

I am using it. Same speed. No cap experienced. But then the max speed I get is only 10MBps even though my area is supposedly LTE-A covered area. Based on what I read in the forum here, I am assuming network congested.

I having this kind of weird issue. Normal time i can get download 20-30mbps. But when night time my connection is suck. Check the speedtest , i can barely get 6-10mbps, with high ping and low upload speed or some time zero upload Tower faulty ? Is totally unusable during night time.

Yeah. Night time is terrible. Haihz. But in other areas where it's not my home I can get really good speed (50-70MBps)

I dont think is network congestion, it must be something happen to the tower or something else. Previously is super fast and smooth. But now, i cant even wechat or whatsapp. I miss my slowmyx 1mbps

Night time congestion.
Try compare the network stats between day and night time.
The signal quality at night should be bad due to network congestion.

You will be able to improve this by adding an external antenna.

External antenna is useless if the problem is caused by tower congestion.

Hi guys, i just bought my Huawei Zain e5186s-22a, but my speed is similar to what i use with galaxy note 3 hotspot. My area have LTE-A and i tested with s7 edge before buying the modem.

How do i know the modem has selected to LTE-A band?

I seems can't choose band selection within the modem.

have u try to lock to only band 3 or band 7?

arghhhhh want to break my modem liao.
i used my own hotspot wifi from digi internet ping so smooth.
so, happily bought a MR200 modem with a digi150, thinking will be same speed.
mana tau this shit digi150 keep on high ping and even request time out.
modem signal is 75/100%

I don't have any experience with other modem, but i use huawei e5186s-22a, connection more better and stable than phone hotspot. Only complaint is wifi signal from that modem is rubbish lol. Cheap adsl dlink wifi range is more better than the huawei.

yea wifi range are weaker... add antenna

just came back from digi store. Managed to change my postpaid 50 to family plan and put under infinite 150 plan. RM28. Cheap compared to RM50. and managed to do MNP request from celcom rare 38 plan (3gb + 3gb bring forward). Just forget the celcom plan, and get the 28 plan. still have free calls and still 3gb wat.. so still untong.. next maybe port in my maxis line the maxis one 98 plan which i managed to get rebate RM30 for life.. that is 20gb. what do u guys think? should i MNP my maxis heavily rebated account to 28digi family plan? or i just stick one final line with maxis.

i think its really worth it.
