Hi guys, i just bought my Huawei Zain e5186s-22a, but my speed is similar to what i use with galaxy note 3 hotspot. My area have LTE-A and i tested with s7 edge before buying the modem.
How do i know the modem has selected to LTE-A band? I seems can't choose band selection within the modem. Please someone with this modem help .. thanks.. |

How to define LTE-A. I tested with S7 edge , the speed is good around 50mpbs. The phone also show 4g+. However, I use e5186-22a only can get 25mbps max. I only use band 3 because other combinations not giving stable and higher speed. Is the modem overrated or need more setup? Thinking to try external antenna.

Did anyone use voice call on E5186-22a?? i used and it works, but internet is not working when i make call. is that normal?

i manage to improve my speed from average 20+ to 40+ with external antenna, putting near window. I'm happy with the antenna.
