Bridge mode as in not NATed like one of those hilink modems?
The ones that need dialer software (non-hilink modem)

What is your setup for ipv6 with digi 4g?
*
That probably is. Maybe I should get one of those dongle some time.

As for enabling IPv6 on smartphone, I merely changed the APN protocols to IPv4/IPv6.

I have the E3372 dongle that you mentioned (non hilink version)
So how should I proceed with it? My WS880 would automatically connect to digi once usb modem attached
Should I go with tunnelbroker? Tried creating one before (when B310 was connected to the WS880) and got error something about ip inaccessible

Since all my devices connected at home still using ipv4, how do I prepare for ipv6?
Especially for my network camera/raspberry pi with static ipv4 address, do I need to like setup static ipv6 address if there's such?

I am not familiar with that W880 router, so I cannot have anything to say really here.

Nevermind about the huawei ws880 router (it's running asuswrt btw)

What about the basics of setting up ipv6 with existing devices already connected to router (with static ipv4 address)?
Coz i have zero clues how to properly set it up
Only tutorial I've seen is setup with 6to4/tunnelbroker

I mean you must've configured it using any custom router firmware like ddwrt/openwrt/asudwrt

Ooo...B310s-22 I assume? You connect your home alarm to this?

Isn't your home alarm direct connect to phone line?

Did you disconnected the phone line, then connect to B310?
*
There is this thing all the splitter biggrin.gif
Actually house got 3 telephone port... so just plug the B310 to any then everything link up.... the phone... the alarm...
Oh... but need to make sure that TM landline connection is cut on the outside

Another note is that to turn off voicemail.... so it can ring longer to activate phone remote access into alarm

For OpenWRT, everything is explained at https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/uci/network6

The problem now lies on how to pull a prefix from DiGi for the router itself.

Ok, that's too much information to process
Not exactly a straightforward tutorial
How did you configure ipv6 directly on your phone?

Change both APN protocols' options to IPv4/IPv6.
Probably needs to be at least Android 5?

4G is 4th generation. LTE is one of the 4G. For mobile phone, it mean the same thing. Another 4G is wimax.

Got it working on my phone
If I got ipv6 working on router
How exactly do i access ipcamera/other service remotely?

With ipv4, i would usually assign dns name & portforward to that device. So it goes like this

myipcamera.duckdns.org:8010

Could you give an example with ipv6? Since you don't need to portforward with ipv6

You run your DNS updater on the camera itself or on the router?

Are you asking for 4G vs LTE or LTE vs wimax?
LTE is one type of 4G.
Wimax doesn't really fast in Malaysia, max like 20m only.

Wireless broadband is never good for gaming. Go for wired connection.
