Then you will have to find a way to configure your DNS updater to send your camera's IPv6 address to the DNS server then instead of your router's IPv6 address.

So each IPv6 address for each device is unique?
With ipv4, usually you'll just need to open port that is used by that device for example port 8050
Then use dns for that router and add port 8050 at the end

So it's different with ipv6 where you need to have specific dns for each ipv6 address?
Or just directly input the actual ipv6 address to remote access it (for example 2001:0db8:85xx:0000:0000:8a2e:03xx:7xx)?
No need to add port number etc

Assuming that you can update the AAAA record for DNS address with the correct IPv6 address, then the way you access your camera will still be the same, which is:-

CODE

http://your-secret-camera-address.com:8050

Ok, just add those port number at the end of the of the ipv6
With Ipv6, you can access it without portforwarding right?
Or need to add some extra firewall rule in the router to be able to remotely access them?

Can any device have both ipv4 and ipv6 assigned?

A device can has both assigned. You may or may not have to tweak the firewall, depending on existing setup.

I don't plan to maintain a list of smartphones as we need to try one by one to make sure its compatibility.

For example, the Redmi Note 3 have a broken LTE CA although it is supported on the spec sheet.

Just tested E3372 and E3276. Both stuck with IPv4 only. Too bad.

Area Melaka.

Anyone else having this problem?

CS mentioned a maintenance is going on, target date 8 June to be completed.

Hi guys, my Huawei E5776s came in already, so far pretty nice, around 15-20Mbps Down and Up.

Should I do anything to its settings or is fine out of the box?

Oh I thought you have your own list as you mentioned in earlier post?
Maybe you can put in a simple list as I have suggested before (below example) as a simple guide..
Maybe it is not 100% correct but it can be useful..

I always buy my stuff from Taobao China using app and face with no issue because my address is in China.

However, I tried selecting location as Malaysia in the app and I would have assumed those sellers appear in Malaysia location should be able to send to Malaysia. So far, they kept telling me they don't send goods to Malaysia.

I wonder how did you guys make your purchases in Taobao? Using desktop page and let it direct to Taobao World? Fill in Malaysia address and they will send to us? I don't want to trouble my China friends so much and I was thinking to buy my own stuff from China. Your guidance is much appreciated.
