I asked a banker from Bank Mualamat, and he said this bank's processing is quite slow, plus this is a new card, may takes 4-6 weeks after submitted the documents.

Since it's capped at RM30, go for gold card will do. Lower spending of RM1k for RM30 cash back. No point going for Platinum or Infinite. All capped at RM30.

Just checking, did anyone receive the cashback from Bank Muamalat Pos Malaysia Visa Infinite-i, for October? I spent RM419.50 over the counter at POS in 26th September, so I supposed to get RM33.56 cashback. But on the October statement 15th, there was no cashback given

hmm guess they are not reliable too. i asked them to change my MAP email so that i can apply for a new credit card. after 3 weeks still no progress. i can only imagine how long it takes to investigate cashback issue

Yes, they call / whatsapp, and doesn't seem to have a proper application form to fill online (unbeliavable...), felt sketchy so I just arrange time to go apply in branch

I check the application status though the MAP just now. that almost a month only then the status update in progress. not sure have to wait how long again to get approve

my status already "HQ Recommended" since mid Oct. not sure what it means. already esclated into report yet still no action taken.

still nobody contacted me for verification or requesting additional doc or whatnot.

really hopeless. not putting any faith nor more effort to chase. if gotten card in the mailbox, bonus. if not, no big deal.

i have read some comments on FB for muamalat online application, approved within 1wk, and in 2nd week got the card. the comment posted 6days ago.
also there some1 claimed he is muamalat credit card agent, dont know how true is it. apply thru agent is good ya, can ask the status of approval?

no idea, i applied directly on the official site, u can try and feedback here for future reference. my problem is, the branch staff that handled my case many drama...ask for many docs back and forth, then cannot open attachment la, sometimes not responding email la, ph la etc....
