BNM allows online individual registrations for eCCRIS

BANK NEGARA Malaysia (BNM) allows new users to directly register for E-Central Credit Reference Information System (eCCRIS) online from Feb 18.

The central bank said individuals who have a MyKad and online facilities may register for the service at eccris.bnm.gov.my, without the need to walk into a BNM or Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) office.

“To register for eCCRIS, individuals need to make a RM1 online transfer to a designated BNM account via internet banking, with the RM1 automatically refunded within two working days upon registration.

“This step allows for the identities of individuals to be confirmed digitally, taking away the need for physical verification,” it noted in a statement last Friday.

BNM’s deputy governor Marzunisham Omar said these enhancements make it more convenient and safer for individual users to register for eCCRIS and have access to their CCRIS reports, all from the comfort of their homes.

Meanwhile, companies and non-Malaysian individuals may still register as new users through eLINK at telelink.bnm.gov.my.

The public may visit bnm.gov.my/ccris for further information on CCRIS and eCCRIS, as well as contact BNMTELELINK at 1-300-88-5465 or 603-2174 1717 (overseas) or via the newly introduced Live Chat function at bnm.gov.my/livechat.

try ask counter or check kiosk if can accept TNG eWallet. then still got chance.
