triumph sales amazed me tbh, even higher than HD and suzuki.Never know there are so many triumph users in Malaysia.  Once seen one on road.
*
I actually see more triumphs than suzukis around...only ever see suzukis in convoys. I think triumph has been pushing very hard with the marketing and demo days which probably explains their sales figures. Kinda surprised Aprilia is so low - thought the Shiver would be more popular.

Any possible different between normal, scrambler or sport Leoncino?
*
Going with the usual scrambler archetypes, the scrambler version will probably have high exhaust pipes, a different seat and knobby tires. Depends on how much effort they put into it (the new SV650 scrambler version is just a new seat and handlebars and mild dualsport tires, pretty lazy IMO).

There's a sport Leoncino which I think is currently only a concept, however it looks really good:

the data obtained by moto malaya is questionable..

they din state the source, and there is no official release anywhere to be found.

all these vehicle datas, jpj actually can provide, provided their system is good? does jpj has a searchable database?

triumph bikes are assembled in thailand. therefore price is lower compared to say moto guzzi.

thts y harley diedie build an assembly plant in thailand. i posted the pics earlier. it will soon be operational.

suzuki still hv dealers, for eg eangchun is selling susuki.

tis their latest event ...

Latest news report....

Trump threatens Harley over move to Thailand biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

https://www.bangkokpost.com/news/world/1492...ove-to-thailand

"We see tremendous opportunity particularly in Southeast Asia and the investment in the plant in Thailand to get around the egregious tariffs and duties is a part of accessing a very important market," Harley-Davidson chief executive Matthew Levatich said in late April 24.

"We need to be there and be relevant," Levatich said. "It's very important to the long-term growth of the company as a segment within the international growth opportunity."

Means Harley is getting more customers from SEA / Asia than USA.... biggrin.gif

Half of Harley sold worldwide is from good old US n A.. Those Yanks and Dixies quite patriotic when selecting their 2 wheels product.

16% of the sales then goes to EU.. while the rest are scattered across the globe.

Reason why HD want to push SEA assembly plant because of the mistake they did in India and to build bigger Harley for the 1st time outside US... (Softail, FL Touring series) and perhaps to support EU market as Triumph and Ducati does...

Thai.. land of the Free (Long Live the King)..

Fast Bike - Triumph quire aggressive promoting the brand. They will insist you to test ride. No need to ask whistling.gif The bos Dato Malique marketing style, he did the same when he manage Aprilia before Naza took over.

Once you test ride, it kinda 'stick' at the back of your primitive mind - 'must buy, must buy, must buy' whistling.gif

The only thing stops me from buying is the price... price different - a lot (percentage wise) compared from Thailand. The bike is made in Thailand. sweat.gif

I went to a Triumph demo day last year - just needed to show my license and next thing you know I was test riding a Street Triple on a guided tour through some Penang back roads. Even gave me a free t-shirt! Power to them notworthy.gif

How much more expensive are they here than in Thailand?

They expensive because equipped with quality stuff such as brembo brakes system etc. worth with the price but not so many willing to spend so much money on 700cc bike

True, it is more refined than the jepunis counterpart I must say. When it launched they got it right.. while Jepunis going for refining process as per batch .. or facelift...

However, IMHO a 700cc bike will all the features that make you bike lean more, faster and safer is better than 1L bike but kosong...

cant get vulcan s, service manual cos kawa kedekut, need to buy, if not , maybe u can find the error code, then change the sensor yourself.

Thing is they seems to remove the option to self diagnose the ecl from the bike so that we have to drag the bike to their workshop just for checking. I tried the method suggested in vulcan s forum but it doesn't work. DIY the fix will cost more as I don't have the tools.

Update:
Just picked up the bike and luckily the sensor was fine as it's only the wire had a very small cut, easy fix but the mechanic/shop charges me the price of a brand new sensor. Mintak kurang sikit nak buat isi minyak tak bleh so that will be the last time I'll go to 'your' shop.

Also with the sensor fault, the exhaust still blew off the gases indicating a messed up mixture when I close the throttle to upshift. The idle was rough like almost 1.5k rpm

hi guys, wanna ask expert opinion.

I am taking B full with no bike experience. Attended first day of practical and cant even turn properly on the modenas kriss (straight line ok)

I was thinking to get a cheap clutch bike like modenas ns200 for practice. Is this feasible?

Don't worry, you can do it. flex.gif

Last year, I sent my son (17 years old) with zero experience riding clutch bike. He only ride my Ego LC for a couple of hours only. Straight ride ER6N. Dropped the bike twice. After 5 lessons, then all good flex.gif Pass his B Full. thumbup.gif

So, as for getting NS200 for practice, you pocket, it's up to you. After you're done with it, can sell it thumbup.gif

I've ride ns200, in 2nd gear without throttle full clutch disengage, the engine will stall. The engine is weak so cannot be compared to bigger cc where I use only first gear for titi, slalom, number 8 and sharp turns on a TNT600. The technics esp clutching and throttle control are very different. You gotta train with the test bike really IMO. More ns200 is light very forgiving bike but far from the 600cc ++ beast used by driving school.

So no need to waste money on smaller training bike, just spend more time training with driving school's bikes and collect a few scars as I did two years ago. Though, I've been riding bike since age of 12 or so.

Oh, gonna take a while then but yea falling at a golden age is something really. I was quite athletic in my young days so on thing that I can say it that when you're moving fast whether running, on bicycle or motorbike (freaking english when you say bike they think it's a bicycle) is that look at where you wanna go.. Do that and everything will follow suit like a magic. If you look at a tree, called target fixation, then you'll head directly to that tree. Look around ahead of the tree then you'll get around it instinctively.

Easy for me to say when I spent most most my youth time running, cycling and biking really with few 'sparring' along the way but that's what world champion did too. You'll head towards what you're looking at.

I have 2012 er6n and 2015 versys650 manual, and both also use same method to turn on self diagnostic.

as explained here for vulcan s

https://www.vulcanforums.com/forums/130-vul...rror-codes.html

already charge labour price still wana charge for sensor price but din replace sensor?? that is unreasonable..!
