Damn good...on par with road5.

But in all other aspects, it absolutely beats the overhyped road5 which is shit imho.
*
Good to know.
What about the price point? Cheaper than r5 / r6?

yup... bought a set for around RM1050 iirc a couple of months ago at chan bikers. 120/180
*
Nice
I may consider this.
Want good wet tyres.

Looking at Bridgestone t32 but it's more pricey

If not will just go for r6 or r5. R5 very good on wet and heavy downpour. It will slice through the water puddle.

Just ordered a pair of Road 6.. Used Roadtec 01 on my previous bike, and am satisfied with it.. Mileage can get 15k km rear, 20k km front..  Then tried 01se on my new bike, impress me further because it lasted 20k km already, front and rear wear around the same.. Gonna squeeze around 1000km more from it before go change early next month.. This time the shop strongly recommend me the Road6, which he doesn't do the same with the Road5.. He was saying the improvement is very good, further more, it just cost around 100 more than the Roadtec 01 normal version..
*
Can see that you are most impressed by the mileage you get from the roadtec.
When I buy tyres, I'm not so conern with mileage. my first priority is grip on wet road and in heavy rain since I'm using my bike to commute to work.
How's the wet grip of this roadtec ?

Z900 sitting position is nicer
Feeling of being one with the bike - sitting in the bike

Not sitting on the bike ( mt09)

never tried the z9 on the road but only thing i didnt like sitting on it, it was hefty. but the seating position seemed more natural... bike like

tried the mt09, what was nice was for a 900cc its quite easy to manoeuvre in traffic, seat is probably very comfy if u dont go high speeds often
i do realise one thing tho when i tried the bike, it was so difficult to reverse. my legs just touching the ground. Probably my only gripe with it.
specifically the mt lineup, cannot agree more... they ugly
*
Mt09 seat height is slightly higher than z9

should be on the same frame as the existing model with some tweaks here and there.
*
Engine, frame, etc same.

New front looks.

With added riding mode, traction control, LCD meter, with Bluetooth.

There is an SE model which comes with ohlins and front radial brakes.

haha... thats y i always put down stand 1st... kalau nak park... also hampir jatuh bodoh a few times, but manage to tahan... didnt let go... in the end masuk clinic for joint pains... lol...
*
i once jatuhbodoh dropped my 220kg bike in front of the mamak patrons. Malu
parked my bike there, i think i didn't fully extend the stand down. put the bike on the stand and as i was alighting, the bike started to tip.
couldn't hold the bike up. just let go and jumped out of the way. was afraid of getting my leg crushed.
The bike dropped in front of everybody.
very malu

and I was thankful to those pakciks sitting at the table nearest to me, they got up and helped me to push up my bike.

Malu sure malu lor..but you won't get scorn from bikers for sure. We all kena before.

Mine was at betong immigration Malaysia side. Local police wanted to see my license (wallet was in my rear case, normally they just ask for grant). I kill switch my bike but was a split second too fast to release the clutch just as the engine was on the last thump.....bike jumped...and went off the sidestand....down I went. Hahaha.

If you use your bike most often in city traffic. Better don't go by 10000km
My bike I use it as my mode of transport to work. City traffic, traffic jam, hot, stop go, etc.
I'm using semi syn and I change the engine oil at the interval of 3000km++. The most I will stretch is about 3500km.

I kena before similar, but I use padlock at rear sprocket, only the plastic chain guard slightly scuffed, almost jatuh but managed to save it. Current bike I never use any extra locks liao, just the steering lock saja sweat.gif

How often do big bikes get stolen eh? Always hear calipers and rxz/125/lc stolen but rarely big bikes getting stolen hmm.gif
If I park my bike in a public area, I'll use the disc lock.
Whatever it is, it's more for deterrent and for the peace of mind.

After that jatuh bodoh, I started to use the disc lock cable reminder.
