With this method, you can reactivate the account by performing KYC including submitting a copy of your NRIC.

Hi Lowyat forumer,

This is my current experience with HG. from the screenshot you can see I bought RM 1 gold @ price RM 212.86/gram

I check out today price is 241.50/g which is a nearly 30 ringgit up per gram.

Why when I sell i only get back RM 0.96? Is my math got problem?

you bought in Mar...
i "think" most probably due to this....
previously people mention about market premium charges....
have you take that into consideration?

What is ‘market premium’?

They allow as low as RM1 mah bro. And I look at their fees so I takut, earlier i put in 100+, so trying to understand more before I put in more money.

Looks like from the calculation like that, I also couldn't understand. If i put in RM 100 @ RM210 and sell @ RM240 then i can get back RM96?

Nothing wrong.

Buy = (RM 1 - RM 0.08) / 212.86 = 0.0004
*8 sen is the buy fee

Sell= 0.004 * 241.50 - RM 0.96

That y I sold all when they implement the premium fees and shifted investment to bank.
I will only come back, if the rate par with banks which between 2% to 4% spread.

He is posting a real experience (with proof) of buy/sell in HG and awareness for all.
However, still a lot of people do not know the hidden cost that impacting their investment.
That way I bring up the issues of premium fees months ago, and I really pity for those subscribe the saving plan that not even notice they also gets charges of the premium fees.
