Regarding the question of "duos" on the back, it seems that KLGadget guy posted a review last night. Assuming that SME set already ready in the store, then their unit could be the retail unit (not 100% sure though).



Apparently, there's no "duos" on the back.

Btw, I think this is the first time they bashed on Samsung phone. Not sure why. Anyway, those shortcomings already mentiond for many time in the past. So nothing new here.

this is good enuff for me.. i always use my phone naked.. buy beautiful phone.. i want to enjoy the beauty.. just put dbrand skin at the back..

when i want to resell the phone back.. just crack my screen..sent for replacement.. get a brand new screen..lol..

I am curious. How do you know it's a SG set? Inside the video there's nothing to indicate that's a SG set phone.... hmm.gif

Honestly this is a good move by Samsung. Personally I really hate all these queuing and everyone should just enjoy the same package, instead of fighting with the horrendous queue that didn't exist when the late comers stay rushing in.

Indeed. Furthermore, this is also a good move to gain back the confidence and loyalty from the Samsung users. After the Note 7 fiasco, they need more people to buy the S8 to prove that their product is completely safe & reliable now. In order to do that, a great deal is a must to boost up the sales. Giving everyone the same deal could be be a very effective measure. Let's wait and see if Samsung is able to sort it out and make everyone happy in the end. brows.gif

That's why we always say, when you do business, you sure can't satisfy everyone. Samsung upper management must be scratching their head right now and still figuring out how to make everyone happy.

yes, the next Note 8 pre-order will get luke warm response if they give the same freebies without discount.

IIRC, Samsung did mention they will give 50% discount to the Note 7 users for the Note 8. That was few months ago, dunno is official or they were just considering that time. Dunno why some big company's customer service always bad - maybe they always put cost as the top priority rather than looking at the overall company image - like the recent UA case. sweat.gif

Honestly, I don't think it's possible. They even put a very high price tag on their refurbished Note 7. Don't think they will be so generous on the Note 8 sales.
