I already read through the roadshow link before it was taken down. If I remember correctly, we only can get the free starter kit + 50% off PWP exclusively in roadshow. For the store purchasing, only powerbank will be given. Not sure why Star claimed that everyone can get the same deal even he/she miss the roadshow. Need to wait for SME official announcement to further confirm.

I also read the roadshow link before. Doesn't seem to be as what The Star has claimed but the link is down now. Could be updating new info. Let's see if it's true or it's just false info to bait more people into buying.

I think the type-c cable is inside the starter kit. Looking at the news report, most likely we will be offered the same 50% discount if we were want to buy the 2 gadgets.

Maybe now they have enough stock just arrived, so want to clear all. Since even selling at 50%, they will make tonnes of money too.

But the Star might report the wrong thing too.

Yesterday i did notice someone posted the complaint in their FB. Not sure if it was you. But last night it seems they already removed that complaint, exactly around the time when they removed the roadshow link.

I PM them, so that's not me.

If the freebies is offered to all, I guess they will have lots of stock, so most likely I will go collect my pre-order after works instead of rushing during lunch hour. Can take time check carefully and more time play with it.

Agreed. If Star's report is true, then I am relieved. I already accpet the fact that I can't go to the roadshow for the good deal.I only can buy from the store. But now there's a hope. Haha.

Haha... so kiasu... You still get extra warranty. Personally I don't feel there should be any difference. Pre-order is just a reservation.
