Honestly this is a good move by Samsung. Personally I really hate all these queuing and everyone should just enjoy the same package, instead of fighting with the horrendous queue that didn't exist when the late comers stay rushing in.

Haha... so kiasu... You still get extra warranty. Personally I don't feel there should be any difference. Pre-order is just a reservation.

First they pissed off the Note7 PRE ORDER owner, then they pissed off the S8 PRE ORDER owner to praise other potential S8 buyer. Not sure if you would call this a good move. Maybe good to you, but it is definitely a bad one for the company.

That's why we always say, when you do business, you sure can't satisfy everyone. Samsung upper management must be scratching their head right now and still figuring out how to make everyone happy.

guys, S8 demo unit is up on Samsung stores. Just went to have a feel if it. Definitely top notch build, everything feels solid, and the edge screen isn't as curved as S7, so it's easier to handle. Overall not bad at all. They literally put out the unit minutes before i arrive, and still setting up the whole table to move their A9 pro 2017 somewhere else to put more S8, Gear VR and Gear360 is not out yet as per lunch hour, so cant comment on those. Sad that PO phones isn't eligible for the half price discount for GearVR, otherwise i'd sweep one home

got reply from the garden samsung store, no installment plan available wtf.... only cash or credit card, did not mention any charges

First come first serve. If the first 400 units sold out on 5th May, then no more free starter kit for 6th May buyers.

If want to buy S7e, might as well top up a bit more for S8. Shoppu still has discount if not mistaken. Doing so, you wont need to look at S9 next year and itchy to upgrade again.
