All grads make mistakes, not just UITM grads.

I have my fair share of horror stories from local and foreign grads from all unis.

Some of my worst were from UTP.  Out of 6 I hired, 5 were major disappointments.

In fact I never ever hire grads from UTP anymore.

Work with many uitm grads before.
Have to say the top 5% uitm grads can be as good as top 20% grads from um.

But when look at bottom 20% uitm grads Vs bottom 5% um grads, the UM grads win.
What i want to say is, many good students from uitm, but there are hell alot more rempit students from uitm due to their lenient entry requirement.

And awek uitm really not bad though. Have many uitm intern with tight baju. Hnnnngh.

There really need a employer satisfaction statistics done on local grad. Then can really know which the best.

But need to be impartial because usually some will hide bad report because tercabar

Critizing uitm grads is not racist la bro. Uitm is not a racist university accepting only one race. Don't be so sensitive.

My company HR and i interview many many uitm grads before, unfortunately 8/10 or them cant even speak normal english during interview, hmm...ar...er... etc. But some could speak above average and command language in a proper way.

However, many that we met request directly blh cakap dalam bahasa? How could these graduated from Uni? Practice abit at home before interview, embarrass own and their school.

Again..english is only a language..not a measure of intelligence. Put things around, if they interviewed you & you cant speak rempit language, do u think urself not intelligent?

English can be improved over time.

some of uitm students, enter uitm is because purely their choice...these stdnts are on par with those UM or even oversea graduates...

Im sure there is. But I never heard anyone put UiTM first choice unless CGPA too low to go UM/UKM/UTM

I didn't think he talk about intelligence. Simply that the command of English is poor. Maybe the company deal a lot in English, that's why need English. It is something to look into by UiTM if this happen to graduate.

Like it or not, English is the lingua franca of business. If you have one candidate who can speak English while another are not, the choice is simple. Only take the less qualify candidate when he is the only choice

My company hired 1 Uitm comp science degree holder. As a non native English speaker, his English is okay. However when it comes troubleshooting very technical problems which he is hired to perform, he will always ask how ah how ah without ownself doing some homework... Need everyone to spoon feed like crazy. Every step also want us to confirm can or not. Best of all, he is not a fresh grad. 30 years old chap.
I mean in uitm IT courses are promoting such spoon feed culture ??
*
"Every step also want us to confirm can or not"

This basically means that he doesn't know or familiar with the work culture or SOP of your company or department.

So the next question is, do u have any SOP when troubleshooting things or u just adopt trial and error method?

If the junior didn't know dept SOP, do u know who should be taking the hots? It's the seniors for not being able to guide the juniors.

You sounds stupid and ignorant.
You got any statistic in your hand?
I dont think you got any experience mixing up with others from various background yet you dare to put ratio out from nothing.
And those who applies for jobs coming from various background, not just one Uni. UITM graduates still pretty much better than some public uni and most private uni out there.

But i know you and other k/tards not looking for fact so keep butthurting your holes.

ignorant of foolishness is the best by telling the world is the best.

my degree was from MMU, after 10 years of working experience.

now doing master in uitm...i came here bcoz for my course, only uitm and mmu offered it in malaysia..i opted for uitm coz i want to experience new environment. enough of mmu.

what i want to say is fresh degree grad should go get some working experience before further to masters level..it will help them a lot to do well in their study bcoz of their experience.

what i like here in uitm is the quality of the Prof/Dr (mostly overseas phd).

this is my last semester, i'm on course to achieve top grade (hopefully).
