Usually for bumi quota developer will uae different color code and when the bumi unit is sold they will use different color sticker.

Yaya...if show to buyer, will show the booking system. So, buyer can really see and choose from the system. For this project, less than 100units available for Tower A but those were booked. May still have release units if loans are rejected or cancelled units.

Haha. Some people buy for own stay. Not necessary for investment.

Owm stay is a form of longer term investment.

You would ideally hoping the capital appreciation to equal or exceeded inflation.

Beside even today you buy for ownstay, it doesnt mean in shorter term there could be change of plan and etc and rendered you the need to get rid of the so called ownstay property and look at elsewhere.

UNLESS you are a fully accompalished person and make your money elsewhere a lot more, therefore its important that people dont see ownstay property as any different than investment property.

Who will buy your investment property? Either an investor or ownstayer.......so the end result always go hand in hand.

I visited the showroom a few months back, the SA mentioned that the Developer already planned to absorb the bumi quota, meaning to pay a penalty for it, and just sell all the units as normal units and price. Not sure how that works or what it entirely means, but yea...apparently not gonna have bumi units lol.

Means that the developer absorbs the penalty and offer the units at normal SPA pricing? Thought that they'll have to mark it up to cover the penalty they have to pay to DBKL.

I recall that is what IJM plans to do for their remaining 50% bumi units at Inwood Residences in PSP last time I paid a visit to their sales gallery.

Yup, apparently so. I think they already considered the penalty in their initial planning and probably reflected it in their overall pricing.

yeah, I've never heard of it before either. Hence as mentioned I'm not sure how it works and I might have misunderstood the SA, just sharing when I saw @beancounter said about the sticker board not having bumi coded stickers, maybe it was because of that. So don't quote me on this haha, go and find out and do more research if needed.
