LOL.. My salary itself is only around RM3.9k gross per month. But my side income Im getting like RM10k+ from paypal every month. Is there anyway I can use that to help increase my credit limt as well?
I dun think FD is an option for me now though.. Need the cash to roll over every month now
*
Then too bad, unsecured lending is like that one.

Side income = Did you declare for tax? If yes, it can be used as supporting.

But again, it's up to bank to allow or not.

Maybe you can try another bank in UOB / Citi which are known to give good CL laugh.gif

LOL nope.. These side income just started coming in 2017 thats why not even declared for tax yet.
Looks like my luck is running out. Time to look for another bank to get good points for my purchases  biggrin.gif
*
Unless you can qualify for RHB VI for their premier customer, Maybank's points still one of the best in the market tongue.gif

If I have combine card 5K, use 100. can i purchase i item > RM 10k? will the transfer suceess?
*
Nope.

Your credit limit is shared between card.

If you only have 5k limit, you can only spend 5k.

Yea.. thats kinda my problem. My annual income is too low to qualify for premier cards.
Also M2U is updating too slowly... I get hit with a big transaction and it doesn't show up in M2U and I can't pay it off and when the second transaction comes, I cant even get it through as the first one hasn't even shown up for me to pay it.
This is really annoying me.. Is there any way to like prepay my credit card first so that all transactions go through smoothly?
*
There's no system to will give you real time update bro.

Just gotta make do with the it.

If you suspect you hit your limit already, you can prepay via CDM or IBG to the CC.

Wow, thanks bro! I was trying to do it within M2U and never managed to do it. Now I know it can be done via CDM and IBG from other banks saves me a tonne of headache!
*
Pro tip - keep an excel sheet of your charges.

That way you'll know when you're reaching your limit so you can IBG to recover your CL.

I used to do that last time when my CL was pathetic.

Why can't use M2U to transfer funds to CC account?
*
Coz his transactions are yet to be posted.

Because he uses the CL so much, he has to always clear the balance asap to use again.

If he uses M2U, he can't see the transactions so he can't pay them.

Eg - He swiped PayPal 4k. Yet to be posted but he knows he used 4k already. So he IBG 4K to offset and continue doing his business.

Why must see the transaction? As long as u transfer funds using M2u from CASA to CC, the CC's credit balance available will be adjusted accordingly and reflected online.
*
As explained by Alexander.

If can't see outstanding, you can't pay via M2U.

QUOTE(zaoldyeck @ May 22 2017, 11:41 PM)
Received my M2C. Can I just activate the Amex and ignore the other one forever?
*
Can.

Should not be an issue. But safer to activate it, set a pin and then keep it in the drawer till god knows when.

It's 2 card for a reason.

No, you may not cancel the Mastercard. Just set the pin and keep it in the drawer.

Problem solved.

Normally card centres are able to print the statement, hence just bring IC will do.
*
Yeah, if they want to be really prepared, just bring lor.

Card center will likely ask the person to print out another.

Then the 1 hour wait begins.

buying phone at lazada with installment on weekend is count or not?
*
How many times must we answer?

Lazada don't accept AMEX. At least to my knowledge around 1st May 2017, they don't accept yet.

And even if they do, I doubt you can use AMEX for installment.

Most of the time, they require a Maybank Visa / Master for installments.

I took the effort to check Lazada's installment for Maybank. Only accepts Visa / Master.

I contacted CS 2 days ago answer is no. Problem is I wanted to ask further (e.g., is it in the process of accepting AMEX etc) however CS disconnect chat quickly after answering no. So in the feedback I gave disattisfied and said CS could do better by providing more details.  cry.gif

Hope this can raise Lazada alert that there is a need to accept AMEX in the future.
*
They probably don't have an answer for the questions you were asking.

I just raised another complaint with BNM regarding Maybank's lofty attitude. Submitted my application for a world MasterCard but they lost my application together with my NRIC.

Since they reinstate this cashback thingy, I noticed their customer service quality went down to the rafters again....

Unless you already have the cash in FD, then go ahead with the instalment tongue.gif
