Is anyone aware that Maybank has a policy that you are not allowed to apply for another credit card within 6 months? i.e. if you have applied for a maybank petronas card today, you can only apply for the gold 2 cards 6 months later.

I don't think so. I applied all my Maybank credit cards with only 1-2 months gap in between.

Pls read the tnc for cash back. If only Amex can be used at more places and for insurance😬

After some thought, the existing m2card Amex still better off with 1.25% weekday and 6.25% weekend

No such thing. Got my Petronas card after 3 months getting Maybank 2 kad.

I tried twice once through online and another time through ringgitplus. Then I was so fed up I went to the card centre in gardens midvalley, the guy told me that it was because you have just applied for your Petronas card. Usually, he said there must be a gap of 6 months.

you didn't check tho...

AMEX only grand us 5%CB during weekend spending capped at RM 50/month with no reward points for Govt related payment...

so far the only card with reward point is Aeon... RM2 for 1 Point.

Ya and also point rewarded for SCB n HSBC only, so far noticed.

is paying assessment bill to municipality such as MPKj, MBI, MPJ, etc considered government payment that will not get 5X points?

If we apply Amex for auto pay bills, can we manually choose the weekend date to pay bills so as to get the 5% cash back ?

No, then it is not called auto payment lo. That's manual payment.
