hi,

is maybank visa signature better than maybank2card?
am thinking of upgrading to signature

Different types of cards. I have both. No need to upgrade, just apply while retaining M2Cards.
M2Cards AmEx is more flexible in term of cash back though need to spend on weekends. It has no AF.

VS is good for groceries and petrol everyday. I like the PayWave as I use it a lot for my groceries without hogging line too long. I even tap for below RM 10. Bad thing is it has AF which cannot be waived unless you spend 30k. Mine will require 50k before it revised the waiver requirement, I cannot achieve it and next month is anniversary already, time to cancel. sad.gif

For maybank 2 cards, the 5% weekend cash back is applicable only for the main card? Is the supplementary card entitled too?

Amex has the most expensive rate to spend in overseas. However, spending on the weekend itself entitled for 5% cashback which could offset the exchange rate (while spending overseas). Assume i only spend on weekend in a foreign country, it is more worthwhile to use amex than changing cash here (in msia) to use in overseas. am i right?

Yes, I feel it is more worth and safer than carrying cash everywhere I go.

Daily and selected petrol station
Shell , Petronas , petron and now add on BHPetrol

Keep in mind is not guarantee cash back (first come first serve until limit reach but can have a try)and have to use Pin and Pay.

max cap RM20

Weekend pump you will still get the normal 5% cash back

* Make sure you register via SMS first.

Err... M2Cards only the AmEx is useful, most of us don't bother to use the Visa/MasterCard that comes with it.
Short answer to your question, yes it doesn't give any cash back.

Your MSOS activated?

I usually link my uber to my AMEX. No problem so far.
