Has anyone else tried agoda booking on weekends for cash back? If not mistaken I tried it by booking on Saturday but the transaction on Monday instead
*
1) it is uk gateway. May want to wait until later in the day to book.

2) I have not seen my transactions with visa/mc card being posted as a different transaction date.

The only difference between Gold and Platinum is Platinum have the Starwood dining offers and a higher CL. Other than that is all the same.

Can anyone confirm the fact above or add up anything I miss?

and yes I'm thinking of changing my Gold to Plat.
*
actually the CL still depend on your income and bank's assessment. And based on the website, Starwood hotel dining seems applicable to both m2c amex plat and gold. Here

Anyhow, there's also agoda discount, which is higher for Plat Cards.

Haiz.... should i write an official email to Maybank & cc BNM to tell them kinda pointless have maybank 2 card... the Amex basically is useless majority of merchant not accept amex anymore, today i buy book at Boarders they reject , lunch at Ben's Reject Amex ,  buy clothe at padini reject... sigh....
*
Which ben's rejected amex?

Btw, accept amex or not is merchant's decision. If you don't like it, you are welcomed to use other bank's visa/master instead of saying something stupid like complaint to bnm and mbb. And useless? You tahu guna ke?

Anyone try Jompay in M2U and did it accept CC (AMEX)?

Always get this error message:-
The system is temporary unavailable to process this request.
Please try again.
*
Jompay only allow selection of visa/master.

Agreed its sad. The banks needs to charge lower fees and encourage the people to use cards. If more people use the cards they will also make it back because the volume is up
*
If they charge lower fees, bank earn less, we get less rebate. Serious. That's why mbb had to remove the rebate last round. In fact many banks had to revise bemefit down around the same period.

And even if bank charge lower fees, merchant will not pass savings back to consumer. So ya, i like my credit cards now.

Mydigi app or online still not supporting amex.

I suggest Prime, Le Meridien although you can read through blogs to see review. That will fit your budget.

Another option is Westin KL, @ QBA for the brazillian churrascaria. This is lower cost, but something different.

off topic though still relevant.

Oh yeah, just noticed St. Regis is under SPG laugh.gif

30% quite low, coz 2 diner can usually get 50% for SPG.

Afternoon tea starts around 2+ no? Later 4 pm go 6 pm have to blah d coz they should be serving dinner around 6 pm.

Finally this thread got other discussion other than "I spend at XXX during weekends. Can I get cash back?" kinda question  tongue.gif
*
drool.gif that's because these benefits used to be for premier cards only ma... ppl like us who don't have VI or Amex Reserve no chance lo. tongue.gif

BTW, those with Citi Premier Miles, can actually enjoy 45% at st regis. FYI. until 30th June biggrin.gif
