My CC application via M2U keeps getting rejected. Probably because I already have 5 credit cards (though I have RM0 CC debt). Is it possible to request for reconsideration? As simple as shooting them an email?

Okay, I sent the email 2 days ago. I wrote that if it's not possible to get a separate credit limit, they can split my Ikhwan Mastercard credit limit.
So now I just wait until they reply my email or someone call me?

I got this reply just now. Does it mean that I have to fill the application form? It sounds like they're just asking me to apply again.

Happened to me once when I applied for my Ikhwan Visa. I was wondering why it was taking so long for them to send the card to my office. I called CS to check, and they said the card had been sent to my home address instead. Because no one was there, the card had been sitting at the nearest post office for a couple of days already. I was a bit pissed, because the nearest post office to my house is at Balakong, and I had to drive through horrible traffic just to get my card, wasting time and fuel. But at least the person that answered my call apologized on behalf of Maybank, so I guess it's alright.

From then onwards, I always put my parents' house as mailing address (my house is rented). So even if they screwed up again and sent the package to the mailing address instead, I can just get the package the next time I visit my parents.

Plus you get the 10% agent commission as discount because you didn't go through an agent. I also just renewed mine via motortakaful.com last month using AMEX.

I'm pretty sure if Maybank gives the 5% cash back on ANY transactions on weekdays, they will lose money.
It's typical for banks to impose restrictive conditions to get cash back on their low-tier credit cards.
If you want everyday cash back for petrol, go for something like Maybank VS instead.

Yeah, it's my point actually. If you want a CC with non-restrictive cash back, you need to have a high income. Otherwise, in order to get more cash back, you will need to have multiple CC, and you need to schedule your life to take advantage of the cash back.

Are you sure? Any legitimate source on that (not some viral FB post)? I'm the kind of person that will always pump full tank until it automatically stops, because I want to calculate my car's fuel efficiency.

Is there an issue with Maybank AMEX payment gateway? I'm trying to pay my PTPTN, but the first time, I entered the wrong credit card details, and of course the transaction failed. I then entered the correct credit card details, but it immediately redirected me to the transaction failed page without asking for TAC.

Is there a specific email for Maybank to lodge a complaint? (e.g. CIMB has CRU@cimb.com)
I paid my PTPTN using AMEX on Sunday, but something went wrong with PTPTN's website, and I wasn't redirected to the "payment successful" page.
Despite that, the transaction has appeared on M2U, but it is not yet reflected on my PTPTN.

I didn't get any email. I'll try contacting PTPTN first then, since they've already received the payment.

Yup, I have 2 PTPTN accounts. I paid for both — one was reflected immediately, the other still not updated till today.
I will email them tomorrow.

Yes, I was in the same situation last year. Once rejected, I wrote an email to appeal, and mentioned that I am willing to split or share the credit limit of my Ikhwan credit cards. The application was then approved in a week or two.

Just get all the cards (Ikhwan Visa, Ikhwan MasterCard, M2C). Problem solved.

I don't think so. I applied all my Maybank credit cards with only 1-2 months gap in between.

I just apply online.
