Great, Hope you enjoy ur new P1i.
Anyway, Just try out the Writing Text Prediction of P1i.

It's much much better than P990i.
The word recognation for P990i is terrible while P1i is so great.

old tech on new phone.
when u press on ur bluetooth handsfree then u speak out the word u recorded earlier to dial certain number or to execute certain function.
this exist since nokia 3310 as far as my memory serve.
its just if it functions well over bluetooth it will ease my calls during driving a lot

speak and type is not available unless there is any third party software outside tat probably could do this.
the touch screen works fine for me even though screen protector applied. no issue wif the touch screen for me.

Touch screen's sensitivity are not supposed to be affected by applying a screen protector on it.

The many touch screen based phones I've used proves that, including my current M600i and possibly upcoming P1i. tongue.gif
